Excellent night away

Very friendly staff that made check-in and check-out a smooth process. I don’t have the breakfast but there appeared to be a good selection of food items available. Some of the towels in the bathroom appeared a bit stained, though I’m sure the laundry

Breakfast had a wide selection of food. Room was clean and bed was comfy. The person who checked us in was friendly but didn't really communicate great. Not what i am used to when i check into other hotels. We were on the second floor and had to ask where the stairs were to get to the second floor as they didn't mention it to us when we checked in. Also didn't mention the wifi password or that it was inside the room card holder (i looked inside the card holder as i know that is where other hotels put it) or what time breakfast started. Also, my address was not showing up correctly on the tablet and the person entered my correct info into the system. She mentioned to me to confirm on the tablet so i was standing there waiting for my correct address to appear and it wasn't so i mentioned my address was still incorrect. The person finally mentioned that it will not show on the tablet but to just confirm the other info. I said that i was standing there waiting for my correct address as she mentioned to confirm it on the tablet. I am used to either tapping the key to the door or inserting the key to open the door but this key card needed to be held an inch or two away from the door to open the door. I had to have them come up as i couldn't open the door. Entered the room.and it was cold. Had to have the front desk come back up as i couldn't get the heat/ac unit to work. Apparently, the unit was shut off at the power plug and needed to be switched on. Hotel was clean and quie

Room was clean. Breakfast was better than I expected. Lots of options.

We didn't get up in time for breakfast

We had issue with the toilet there was poop backing up in it when we would flush the toilet, my fiancé called the front desk and explained the issue by the time check out came we were no longer able to use the toilet in the room we were staying in.

Room was good

Everything was great with the exception of the bathroom sink which would not drain properly. I phoned the front desk and they phoned me back to say they could not fix it until the next morning. They did offer me another room but we were tired after a long day of shopping so I declined. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

Very clean and comfortable room

Clean room breakfast wasn't great frozen muffins sausage burnt and coffe was empty and nobody around to ask to fill it. Heater in the room was very loud which led to a restless nights sleep, person who checks me in was not very friendly and was a little bit abrupt

Breakfast has yogurt and fruits and wheat bread. Room was a bit small but beds and pillows were comfortable.

Poor overall smell, dirty stained carpets.

The location has easy access to the highway as well as close to the ferry port. The hotel is older, and needs some cleaning if carpet stains, but the staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and a good selection of hot and cold options for breakfast.

Area a bit off set from main Dartmouth area, rooms were a nice size, but noisy fridge in room.

Clean, modern, beds comfortable. Would recommend and a quick 15 min drive to downtown Halifax
