Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham North Bay Downtown

This hotel is not an average hotel and that is reflected in the price but some rooms like 104 is so run down that it should not be rented to anybody. Ceiling fan was hanging of the ceiling, hair dryer didnt work, remote control didnt work and i found stains and somebody elses hair on my sheets and some suspicious looking black dots . The furniture was used and obused . The baseboards had an inch of dust on them and the everythink in the bathroom was either rusted or in a very bad shape. The receptionist was kind and came over to try to fix few things but there was nothing he could do so i requested to be moved to another room on the second floor which was better but also had dirty carpet , stains on furniture, bit up furniture etc. I know that you get what hou pay for but this hotel needs some good cleaning to start and everything else.

Mould on the shower curtains. Ac/fan smelled bad either mould or bunt wires. Unsafe area. Dingy/gross lobby, halls and rooms. Holes in hotel room ceiling. Handprints on the walls. Just not great.

Very old property, the streets outside is easily heard in the rooms, and it was very noisy.

Its an old place but kept clean. The staff is amazing.

I really enjoy this suite been multiple times, but with the years the quality of the room and tub are fading, I really wish they would spend the money on fixing room

The young man who welcomed us and checked us in was impeccably dressed, professional and very inviting to the hotel. The hotel is older but clean, quiet and affordable.

Not the worst. Good staff! Yelling match in the hallway at 530 am between two different rooms and hotel staff. Breaktfsst was satisfactory for continental.

We checked into the days inn by Wyndham in north bay. From the start it was a terrible experience. Firstly the gentleman at the desk doing check in had to double check the time we were able to check in. After confirming the room was ready, we rushed in, not before almost tripping on a dirty mop head in the process. We threw our stuff in the room quickly as we were running off to a funeral. We noticed that the room looked a little grimy and the sheets were yellow so before returning to the room we bought our own pillows and blankets. After getting back - this is the state of the room we stayed in (please see photos). Being so late at night we were stuck at the hotel as we are 4.5 hours away from home. We checked out early in the morning and the woman at the desk wasn’t sure if she could even give us our deposit back as the system wasn’t working. We’ve had to had Expedia reach out to the hotel (since the direct phone line doesn’t work) to see if we’re getting our deposit back? Seeing as how we slept on top of the sheets and purchased our own pillows I can’t imagine we wouldn’t. Plus nothing in that room is worth the $300 deposit. Once we left, and returned home, we noticed we are all covered in bed bug bites.

The room was filthy sheets, blankets, and pillows. Head stains baseboards had thick buildup of dirt bathtub and shower looked grimy ceiling tiles had stains window curtains had big stains. The floor above my bedroom was very loud throughout the night like someone was constantly moving around furniture the only good experience that I had was The staff. That worked the courtesy desk, very polite and informative.

Breakfast is limited perhaps have eggs.

Days Inn isn't a young hotel, but the room was nice, clean and comfortable. There were no problem. I like that hotel because it's in downtown.

Receptionist excellent. Suite excellent. Bed excellent.

Price was good

No bathmat in the bottom of the tub .

The hotel is dated and feels grimy. But we appreciated the lower cost so it worked out for us.

We just Go buy a set of sheet and a cover for the bed We change 3 Times rooms because we are lock inside and outside
