It was like a home away from home. Caroline, the hostess was delightful, attentive and helpful to any need that was required. Attention to every detail, including delicious gluten free breakfasts. Location was great and the extra bonus of a fridge, microwave and tea/coffee facilities in one of the common areas was so beneficial.

The hostess was great. Breakfast were simple but good. Parking was very difficult however. The room was cleaned and confortable with all the charm of the old Quebec houses. Some remodeling needed to be done at some places but nothng major.

My friend and I had a blast in this cute little BnB just steps away from Old Quebec. The bathroom was clean, the room was clean, everything was spotless. Our hosts did a wonderful job taking care of us - leaving us fresh towels and tidying our bed while we were out, providing fresh breakfast (Delish!) every morning (hand sqeezed orange juice!), and overall making us feel very welcome. We really lucked out with the location. Once we arrived in QC at this BnB we didn't have to take a cab at all. We were able to walk to the church, boardwalk, citadelle, ferry terminal, old quebec shops, art district... everything.

The B&B is perfectly located within easy walking distance to Old Quebec. In fact, the neighborhood is interesting in itself with excellent bars and restaurants left and right. The host is extremely caring for her guests, and we would go back to this property anytime for a second visit. The room is comfortable for the vacation traveler, and the breakfast is perfectly served with the heart around a communal table.

Owner Catherine was awesome. We had a wonderful stay for 2 nights. Even though the temperature was freezing cold -24 degree, we had a warm welcome. Breakfast was very nice and healthy. Walk to Chateau Frontanec about 22 minutes in such a cold weather, thank God, Rue Saint Jean has many stores, so we can go in and out to warn up a little bit. Very close to supermarket, only 2 minutes walk. Catherine parked the car for us, garage is narrow to my BMW X5 but worked out. We only walked to visit all places we want, then drove out after checked out. A very pleasant stay in Quebec city.

An excellent stay in a charming old house. Easy walk to the Old Town, and in the middle of an interesting, gentrifying neighbourhood. Excellent, social breakfast with other guests (all visiting from other countries) in the lovely dining room. My one qualification: shared washrooms. If you are not used to this type of accommodation (common in Europe, and common in cool old houses in Québec!), rest assured you can get used to it. This is the opposite of a big bland generic chain hotels. Plan to return. -TomR and MatildaL

1790's vintage B&B that wreaks of charm and very interesting architecture. Sitting area with TV on every level so one can watch TV or read by oneself. Multiple shared bathrooms so the "shared" part is rarely an issue. Very pleasant owner who makes a great breakfast. Will go there again when it gets warmer in Quebec.

We were welcome by Caroline and shown to our garden suite. Access into and out of the B&B is very easy. The walk to shops and restaurants is within 2-10 minutes, with views of gorgeous architecture along the way, while at the same time not being too close so you don't get the loud noise. We would stay there again !
