Beautiful and quirky hotel right across from the Chesterman beach area. Very close to Tofino and Ucluelet. Parking and excellent. Inlet behind property was gorgeous. I wish I could’ve spent more time there but I didn’t pack well and it was a little chilly with the wind. Highly recommend this property and would stay again if in the area. We stayed in the double queens room and it was spacious. One note: the bathroom is an open set up and you step out of the shower into the entry way. A little awkward if you aren’t close with your roommate but otherwise fine. Everything worked well and water heated up very well.

Great hotel. Elevator wasn’t working which made bringing bags up to 3rd floor cumbersome but not too bad.

This was easily the best stay of our trip, and honestly one of the best hotel stays we’ve had in recent memory. We stayed four nights and absolutely loved the property. The hot tub area, inlet setting, lounge spaces, and overall retro theme all came together perfectly. The hotel manages to feel fun and unique while still being extremely comfortable and relaxing. The property was spotless and exceptionally well maintained. The staff were outstanding throughout the stay: friendly, welcoming, and genuinely engaged. The bar/lounge area was also great after a day out exploring. The location was perfect for us. We walked across the street to Chesterman Beach for sunset several evenings, which was unforgettable. The whole experience felt like being surrounded by nature without giving up comfort or convenience. Just an outstanding stay overall. We would return without hesitation.

The bathroom door in our room (#354) had some damage at the bottom. Would also recommend installing a grab bar outside of the bathtub in all rooms. The tubs are extra deep, and this would make stepping in and out safer. Ate supper at your hotel restaurant, Roar. For some reason, the burger was better the last time I stayed there a couple of months ago. Fries this time were regular fries that I can get anywhere, not charcoal dusted. Also, the burger seemed dryer and less special this time. No pickled onion, etc. Wouldn't order this again.

Always stay here when we come to the Island. So central to beaches and town of Tofino. Chesterman beach across the highway, so went back to the beach just before sunset to marvel at the beauty of nature. Also, ventured to Cox Bay beach during our stay which was just a short distance away. Delicious restaurant right at the resort and a coffee bar with pastries, sandwiches to grab on the go. The ice cream shop, taco place and small grocery just around the corner from the resort. The young adults loved the hot tub and deck looking onto the inlet at the back of the resort. Played shuffle board until dark with them outside. Fantastic alternative to staying at the resorts right on the beach where you have to pay $150-$200 more per night. Helpful to have a car to get around. Stayed in early May so places weren't crowded especially during the week day. However, if you come during the summer the whole island is very busy so will have to be patient and make reservations! Stayed here when it first opened so happy to see that it is still a nice place to stay.
