The Chateauneuf is a great place for the price. The gym is open 24/7 but the pool is still closed. The breakfast buffet is good, hot and its an all you can eat. The staff are cordial and its 4 minutes to Ottawa on a bicycle. The place is effectively a 4 star hotel if they can get done with the renovation. I stayed over 7 days there. Will stay there again. The view is fantastic up on the upper floors facing Parliament Hill. If you want better, well, only thr Westin in Ottawa can beat it. The Chateau Laurier is too cramped for the price.

Hello! The bad: We didn't have enough Kleenex, the shower curtain were too short, the beds were hard and the nights were cold (not big enough blankets and the temperature lowers automatically at night). The good: we had a clean room, the place was quiet, the gym was diverse and accessible to all age, the washroom was big enough and had lots of makeup mirrors.

Did not change sheets/towels - no room service. Nothing worked in this hotel, a few elevators were out, the swimming pool was out. The place is heavily being neglected. Rooms are clean and worth your stay if the price is cheap. Otherwise, customer service is not good.

This is an older hotel with good bones and new renovations. Staff was courteous and the room was spotless. The gym is well outfitted but pool is closed. Elevators were under renovation so slow. Tristan was very helpful. Great value.
