Hôtel Le Mirador

We were not informed that there was no drinkable water in the room before we saw the sign telling us not to drink the water. And no drinkable water was left in the room for us to drink. The next morning we found an almost empty water distributer from what we were able to fill our own bottle and finally brush our teeth. We asked questions but no one seems to be able to talk to us. The next morning, the cleaning lady was able to answer our questions. The hotel really need a tender loving care. The floor was so sticky in the breakfast room and no one cleaned the table when a family left so we had to clean it oursefl with napkins. First and last time we went there.

Over the past 20 years I have stayed here and always been very happy. I had not returned in 6 years and it has gone severely downhill. Something is wrong!! I stayed 3 nights and my room wasn't cleaned at all. It was filthy and clothes and suitcase soaked up the odor -- just dreadful. Couldn't drink the water either. For your own health, stay away and perhaps the police should be notified. There's really something fishy going on here. So disappointed. If it hadn't been a holiday weekend and I could have gone to a different hotel I would have run to one. I was trapped. Hotels.com should remove them from its list.

The young man at front desk was very nice.The rooms were stinky and dirty.Towelswere stained and yellow.We couldnt drink the water.The pool was green.The carpet in certain places in the hotel had water damage.The view in the back was pretty cool.The restaurant next door was very good.This place needs a big clean up.I didnt try the breakfast we couldnt wait to leave.

Needs some TLC. Staff left cigarette butts in planters, on the ground. Couldn't drink the water. Pool outside was green Inside pool and hot tub were clean, staff were helpful, close to everything

Hotel was exactly as we expected. Dated and older but very clean. Continental breakfast, no hot food. Staff very friendly and helpful. It is a great deal for lower-budget hotels.

Always like staying here. Quiet, friendly staff and always accommodating. Get a room on the back side. Beautiful view of the lake.

The hotel is a little run down. The mattress in our room was not the best and needs to be replaced. The pool was not clean, however our room had a patio door that allowed us easy access to the pool. There is a convenience store, and a family restaurant within walking distance.

This “hotel” needs to be removed from your site. The water isn’t even usable and apparently hasn’t been for quite some time.

during our stay, spa and inside pool were not available, room needs some maintenance. bed and room are not cleaned every day

It was kid friendly, our kids loved playing in the indoor pool and the park outside

Buttons on tub in room not working... hot tub half working .... overall not super clean everywhere, it needs some upgrades.... but kind of a neat hotel has potential .

Did not expect much, didn’t get much... Location is ok, cleanliness is ok, but there should be some work to do. There was a hole in the wall, there have been a previous water spill on the ceiling in the bathroom and they haven’t even change the ceiling tiles... The thermostat was literally falling apart. The girl at the front counter was courteous, but she did not had our hotels.com reservation (didn’t cause any problem). With some renovation, this hotel could be ok.

Out of date, rust stains in bath tub, rust from water fawcets

Found dirty underwear on top of closets and 1 baby shoe under bed.. obviously poor room cleaning. No screen on balcony door... 1 plastic chair on deck for our sweet.. and water is ro dirty to drink so left us 2 water botyles in bathroom.

Potential for improvement. Grounds would be more inviting if manicured.

Need much grooming outside, lots of maintenance to be done in the rooms. We felt that that there was much negligence on the premises.

I liked the hotel situation. Near everything. But for the price, the room was fair. The tap water was undrinkable. There was missing a bulb in a light beside the bed and the other light was unplugged and was usable only by plugging the cord to the wall inlet and if you wanted to kill the light you had to unplugged it. The bath was beautifull but very hard to access (No stairs) and function buttons were broken. Anf finally, you, Expedia told us that there were only one room left and it was untrue so you are unreliable, i'm sorry.

wifi was horrible and had to have front desk keep RE-CONNECTING. Tv did not work and had to have front desk come up and get it working. Hair dryer in room did not work at all. Water was contaminated and notes stuck to wall saying NOT to consume it . ( how do you brush teeth?) The room faced the back which overlooked a dirty smelly swamp, and lots of heavy brush. ( the view was not bad and im sure water was gross because it is spring) BUT...there was no screens on patio door....completely broken off and laying outside on the main balcony adjoining all rooms. Room smelled moldy and musty and old and could not go out and leave door open because anyone could come in ! Because of stagnant swamp and brush, the mosquitos were unbearable, so it was very stuffy and horrible. Room comes with breakfast. We went down at 9 and it consisted of a loaf of white and brown bread, 3 rock hard bagels, a couple apples and 2 bananas and about 1 inch left of old coffee, and no hot water for tea, or tea bags, or anything else. There was juice in fridge and half a bag of milk. The juice was about 2 inches in bottom of large pitcher and it was cloudy and I am sure left there for days. VERY DISGUSTING. we did not eat !! would never go back...the price was outrageous for what we got...should have slept in car and saved the money !!

Run down, hard mattresses, no heating or A/C. Really needs updating.
