Super accommodation in exceptional surroundings. I would recommend a break at Lakeshore to anyone. The cottages are stylish and well appointed. The owner and staff are friendly and more than willing to go that extra mile to make any stay a real delight. Truly, only a dedicated and determined nit-picker could find fault in this glorious little corner of heaven on Earth.

Lakeshore has a great location but needs some work. Our cabin was clean (as long one didn't look under the bed) but has a sloping floor in the kitchem, no screens on the windows, and the water pressure was terrible. The wifi only worked one day while we were there so we needed to use data as we had work we had to do. The grounds and lakeshore area needed some work and had garbage floating around.

In the first conversation I had with the innkeeper after checking in on Wednesday, he asked how soon we could leave on Friday, our checkout day. He and his crew need to clean the rooms ASAP, he told me. I've stayed in lodges, hotels and inns around the world and never had a host with such a lack of hospitality.

Cute and cozy cottages. All the utensils and cookware were supplied. The bed was super comfortable as well. We enjoyed a dip in the lake despite the algae blooms and the manor had many lake toys for our use. My teen travelled with us and gratefully we were still allowed to stay even though it was two person max. Only downsides were we paid quite a bit more for an extra person and low water pressure in shower. Overall though, it was clean, comfortable and scenic.

No Air Conditioning made for some uncomfortable nights on hot days. The rooms were clean, but no screens on some of the windows allowed for bugs to get in. Deck was rotting. Sink for the bathroom was in the bedroom. Overall, very old cabins.

We stayed for 2 nights nights with our dog. Cottage was a little bit old and small but the owners are doing renovations so we are looking forward to it. The people was really nice and accomodating. Free use of kayaks and canoes with lifevest available. There were a lot of outside seating by the lake and hammocks. They have their own little beach you can relax and have a great time.

Rustic cabins, though blinds are in desperate need of a cleaning. Gross. Stunning view and yard is beautiful. Saw hummingbirds and so peaceful. kid friendly. They should clear out the old dock and replace it

This is a gorgeous lake-side location with hammocks and lounge chairs down by the water, and cabins perched on the rise above. So quiet and private, and updated with wifi and flat-screens, as well as all basic equipment in the kitchen. The only drawback was the tiny toilet/shower room -- I'm guessing that the shower stall wasn't in the original plans when the cabin was built in the 40s or 50s, so it's a little cramped, and the sink is in the bedroom. Lovely secluded getaway!
