The owners were just wonderful

The room was basic but very clean. I've only met the owner once. He was friendly. The breakfast is usually served between 8:00 am and 9:00 am. I asked if it was possible to have breakfast earlier and they prepared and left a plate in the fridge every morning. I had a selection of fruit, yogurt and different pastries.

We had a great time. The place was conveniently close to Ottawa city center, has easy off-street parking right on the property, nice and clean place, very nice accommodations, and excellent host. She prepared a delicious and healthy breakfast for us, and we had a great time chatting with the host and the guests. It was a memorable first time bread and breakfast experience for me and my wife.

Our stay at Le Philemon was wonderful! The location was very convenient and the hotel was spotless. Anika was an gracious hostess and a talented cook preparing a delicious full breakfast each day and made us feel at home. She also gave us precise directions and suggestions for bike paths. We would definitely stay at Le Philemon again and recommend it to our family & friends. Pat & Dennis

First time I tries bed abd breakfast, and I will never try it again. As soon as I open the door, the room was smelling too bad (urine type of smell). The bed sheets, the towels, everything were smelly.

One block off Blvd, Saint-Joseph, local streets are quiet for good running, and decent restaurants and coffee shops an easy walk away... I felt very welcomed and at home

My wife and I have spent one night at this B&B at the end of September.. It has excellent location just 5 min drive from beautiful Cathedral Basilica and Parliament Hill in Ottawa. Walking distance to various restaurants and supermarkets. Rooms are modern,clean and comfortable.Parking on the property. Tasty breakfast-waffles with fresh fruits and whipped cream ,coffee,tea ,juice is prepared by owner. The atmosphere is very friendly and personal.We felt as he welcomed us to his own home. It is a small thought nice and clean place with very warm hospitality in every aspect of stay.

exceptionnel. clean room with toilet and comfy bed. very kind owner mr. jacek. creative and healthy breakfast for 2 mornings. he's very friendly, kind and nice to have a conversation with, very informative and lot's of suggestions too on where we can go visit. the location is nice and quiet neighborhood. we will definitely go back to this b&b when we travel to gatineau, quebec.

Great spot. Close to downtown Ottawa. Clean, friendly atmosphere. Yummy breakfast and we had two extra people stay with us, and it was no problem. We paid the fee for the extra breakfasts and she made up a room for them! Overall very lovely stay. Would definitely go back!

Pros: -Amazing French breakfasts were made for three mornings: 1. Crepes with Fruit bowl and Quiche (100% real maple syrup) 2. Large waffle with Fruit and whipped cream 3. English muffin, Egg & Ham (with Fruit & Yogurt Granola Parfait) -Hotel about 4 minutes to downtown Ottawa -The few parking spaces was enough for us (I think there were 3 off street spots). -Modern renovation and style. Cons: -One MILD complaint with our room was that the air conditioner unit was quite loud (loud enough to wake my wife). We then opted to pre-cool the room in the evening so that we could turn it off over night. -The room's TV (or stand) could be elevated (the tv stand is about even with the bed mattress).

The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The hotel is in good condition. It's not a typical hotel chain so there is no front desk. Late check-in is possible tho. Breakfast was fresh and great but no options.

Cute B&B, close to Ottawa. The owners are amazing and friendly, fully bilingual. Rooms were clean and well equipped with the necessities. Excellent breakfast all three mornings. The owners are not in the building, but live close-by and are always available. If we're ever going back to the capital region, this is where we'll stay for sure!

Just across the bridge from Ottawa city. This light, bright very clean B&B is a delight. Eateries are close by and the hostess is delightful and can't do enough for you. Would highly recommend this as a place to stay.

Our first time visiting this B&B in Gatineau and I can assure you the facilities, service and hot breakfast served is amazing. Our host was hospitable and it's great to have a door code to come and go as you please. Would definitely stay here again when next we visit friends and family in Ottawa.
