Convinent place to stop

Room clean but tub/shower in bad repair. No physical contact with staff but all was ready for me.

Amazing location! Easy check in ! Great communication with the host. Nothing to say nice rooms and comfy bed. Def would go back!

I am very, very disappointed at this place. It looks like a truck stop place. Oil and wet asphalt spots all over the front of the unit I step out of my car and probably step into wet asphalt. I had my 8 months old baby in my hands so entered the room. Probably brough some of that oil/asphalt into the room. But I am not sure it was me. Probably the cleaner brought some when she visited last. Someone texted me for the entry code, so I replied and said the carpet is dirty. I sent pics of the asphalt stains outside and in the carpet. Like 6 different sports in from of the unit. There is a gas station 100 meters from it, the way to the gas station is full of oil stains as well. No lights outside. Sent pics of all that as well. I said dryer does not work. He said try a different outlet. I said I tried 3 outlets still does not work. I asked to be moved to a different room. He or she said is too late (was 10 pm), do not worry about carpet we have special cleaning stuff for that. So I assumed they knew about the many places outdoor with oil spots, probably from trucks. We decided to leave and keep driving. After 6 hours driving, we just left at midnight and continued driving with our baby. So we did not even stay there. I see they charged $200 instead of the $150 they should. So probably they kept the $50 deposit as well, even when they recognized the oil stains issue. I will ask for my money back. I do not recommend this place at all.

Very old and uncomfortable. Directions for key pad unclear . We were ok but several people had problems . At 6 o’clock no response reaching anyone . Left messages on phone and no response Now also security 50 not refunded 2 days later.

La porte ne se barrait pas (pas de loquet) Mal insonorisé. Les murs avaient pris l’humidité. Le bain ést surélevé, mon conjoint touchait presque le plafond. Pas de réception. On reçoit le no de notre chambre ainsi que le code pour accéder à notre chambre par texto. C’est assez spécial. Les draps étaient propres mais le matelas était mou .

Very quiet location. Dated facilities but enjoyed our stay. Owner very friendly. Would stay again.

very quiets next to Tim Horton's and a gas station

No office or attendents. All.communication by message. No issues accessing the room. Just a stop on a long road trip. Tim Horton's shares the parking lot along with an Irving and Circle K. Right on the highway, so some road noise (i was the end unit closest to the highway. Would have been quieter further down.

Clean but worn.

The property is beside the Trans Canada highway which makes for easy access. There is a gas station, store and Tim's in front. It is an older motel so the decor is dated but the beds are clean and comfortable. Issue we had was at check in. We arrived early and when we inquired about checking in early, (the room was done), the guy working was very rude. We have stayed there previously and have never had an issue. Because of this, we will not be returning.

I had been travelling all day with my friend. We booked this place as it was handy the motorway. On arrival I saw it was not the room I received a confirmation on plus it was dirty and the non smoking room I booked reeked of stale smoke. Also, the tub had mould around it. I called the owner and requested the room we booked or at least something clean enough to sleep in. He had nothing and I said I couldn’t stay in the room as we booked a double, non smoking. He said he had no other rooms. The bigger problem is that I was charged when I specifically booked the option to pay when booking out. Plus I was charged for a damage deposit without knowing anything about this as it did not state that anywhere on Motel Express’ website. The surrounding area wasn’t safe. The donut shop basically in the car park of the motel had a gang of boys hanging out and were up to no good so didn’t feel our car would be safe there. It’s not a place Hotels.com should have as one of their listings. I am still awaiting the money Motel Express took out of my account without authorization. I’m very disappointed as I feel Hotels.com should be trying to help with this situation as when one books on their site and leave their credit card number only for confirmation and the establishment goes ahead and uses it without authorization I don’t think I should have to deal with this on my own. I have used Hotels.com for all my bookings but perhaps it’s time for a rethink.
