This place is a gem. We arrived a little early which was not an issue. I speak little to bad French and the person at the desk, who may have been the owner, spoke no English, yet a combination of smiles, nods and a smidge of google translate made for a hassle free check in. When he realized that we’d be leaving before breakfast he insisted on putting together a breakfast to go for us which was a really thoughtful touch. The room was spacious and clean and the bathroom looked recently renovated but with a designer touch. The room had a fridge and microwave which was a much needed plus. The beds were super comfy, the room dark and location quiet. Too bad we only needed to stay for one night. A lovely, characterful place.

The rooms: Unbelievable. The pictures didn't do it justice. We had the family suite. It was beautifully renovated, very clean, very spacious and there was nothing missing.
Staff: absolutely lovely. They were all super nice. We felt so welcome when we arrived and the cleaning ladies were sweethearts.
Location: Ideal. Less than two minute drive from the charming town of La Pocatière, so it was very quiet but close to everything. And there was lots of parking!
I would definitely recommend this place to anyone travelling by La Pocatière, it was way nicer than lots of hotels I've stayed in.

The room and the beds are great, the continental breakfast is good just the location is in an industrial area so not much choices for food, especially in the evening but thats not the property issue. The hotel itself is a great stay. Love it.

Very nice person greeted me. Last minute booking because of weather. French only but very eager to communicate with an app. Accommodations were very comfortable and clean. TV was confusing. Can clearly hear the person walking above us. Breakfast available but I was eager to get back on the road early. I would stay here again.

The room is okay, but needs upgrading. Theres a new owner and the fees have gone up and does not warrant such a high price for what you get. We had our dog and they increased the cost to 25$ from 15. Used to have 5 rooms for pets now only 1 room. Breakfast is okay, but closes at 9 with no more flexibility.

Even though existing reviews state that the people at this facility speak English, this was not our experience. The check in person responded to our questions in 100 mile an hour French which we did not and could not understand. We were stuck searching for our room in a facility with a confusing layout.
In an economy where we are encouraged to spend our money in Canada, this place doesn’t seem to get it.
We will not stay here again.

Clean room and the basics covered this is a good overnight option. Breakfast is purely continental. Staff are really good and professional. Room had tv with a good Vidéotron cable package. Wifi seemed good. Fridge worked but no microwave. Bed and linens were comfortable and I had a very good sleep.

Quick overnight stay on a family trip. Motel is fairly old but somewhat renovated and well maintained. Odd sink in the bathroom and linoleum floor in the room. Pretty basic breakfast. Not the motel operator’s fault but our sleep was very disturbed by little kids running in the halls early in the morning.
