Sheraton Saint-Hyacinthe Hotel

What a disappointing experience. We paid over $300 per night to stay at this Sheraton in the outskirts of Montréal from December 24–25, and it was far below the Sheraton standard we expected. Upon arrival, we were informed that the hotel restaurant would be closed on both December 24 and 25, and that only a continental breakfast would be offered. Unfortunately, calling it “continental” is generous. It consisted only of toast and cold cereals. At a Sheraton, we reasonably expect options such as viennoiseries, fresh fruit, or a proper buffet. To make matters worse, despite having booked a room for four people, the room was clearly prepared for only two: only 2 hangers, 3 bath towels, and just 2 coffee cups. We had to contact reception several times to obtain basic items, which should never be necessary at this price point or for a hotel of this brand. Next time I visit St-Hyacinthe, I will choose the Holiday Inn, where the breakfast buffet is far superior and the attention to guests is noticeably better.

The room was spotless, well appointed, with a staff team that were extra helpful at check in.

Room was wonderful, it was extremely large and had great amenities. There was no tea kettle, so I called down and they literally brought me boiled water to my room for my nighttime tea... I mean the service was incredible. Thanks for the great and comfy stay (the bed was awesome).

The room was beautiful and the staff was very friendly.

Rooms are great. The hotel is central and well appointed and feels really new and trendy. The mattress is a little bit too soft for me.
