Staybridge Suites ST. CATHARINES CONF CTR by IHG, an IHG Hotel

BEWARE*** VEHICLE STOLEN RIGHT OFF THEIR PARKING LOT within 4hrs of arrival. (2024 Lexus RX 350 AWD) Manager Dan Jennings handling of the situation was a shrug and a “we’re not responsible, contact your insurance company to assist, we’ll save the footage” response. I contacted corporate and he lied about his handling of the matter to corporate. It has been 10 days and it is apparent that this is just going to be swept under the rug. The handling of this is obviously an inside job. The manager wasn’t at the very least apologetic about the situation, completely dismissive as if we’re referring to a stolen phone and not a $50k vehicle taken from their property. Very non-chalant behavior. I booked 2 rooms for 3 nights. The insurance companies covered rentals for our stay in CANADA but we could not cross any rental over the border back to NY.

I was very happy with the stay.

Room were clean. bonus was that there was kitchen in our room that i was not aware off. room and leaving area was separate which was very nice

Very clean and quiet ..

Very good facility. Building looks new. There was a little smell in the washroom. When i tried to find it, i couldn't. It wasnt worth mentioning to the admin staff. But overall good experience.

Great place for Family. Lots to do at hotel. Great for teenagers as they can occupy themselves with activities while parents relax at restaurants and bars. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The only inconvenience which out the hotels control was that the night we stayed the fire alarm went off at 1am everyone had to exit the hotel and go outside in the rain for roughly 30-40 mins and the fire department was dispatched. But overall we enjoyed the hotel very much!

La chambre etait parfaite spacieuse et très pratique avec la cuisine et la chambre fermée. Excellent!

Family of 5, great and clean room. It has great amenities such arcade, bowling, bar and a lunch bar. Close to the lake, wineries and 20 minutes from Niagara falls and Niagara on the lake. It has also a restaurant. Breakfast was included, but very small options. We would definitely come back.

High level confort but the service is terrible. You sjould also pay for breakfast is you wake up late in the morning since they stop giving the free breakfast love around 8:30 am

If ONLY the TV cable worked without glitching my stay would have been without any problems. I'm recovering from a Major back surgery and the King Size Bed is Heavenly along with the elongated pillows so much so that I tried to look to find out who made the mattress only to find out that the tag was removed per house keeping, BUT they did give me a name and phone number of someone that I can call for this information.

⭐️⭐️⭐️☆☆ Our stay was mostly good, but unfortunately, the experience was disrupted. When we returned to the hotel around 11 PM on August 23, 2025 the fire alarm went off and we had to evacuate. We waited outside in the rain until about 1 AM, when it was finally cleared. When we took the elevator back up to our room on the 7th floor, it got stuck, and we were trapped inside for about 15 minutes before being let out. It was stressful, and by the time we finally made it to bed, it was almost 2 AM and with 3 kids - it made everything uneasy. Aside from that night, the room itself was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Breakfast was excellent and helped make up for the rough evening. Overall, the hotel has nice rooms and good amenities, but the unexpected issues made our stay less relaxing than we had hoped.

Staff were not trained how to deal with situations. There is a serious problem with technology staff. Internet was not working and I couldn't send a business fax. Staf juste saying sorry without trying to find a solution. I have paid for badic services like WI-FI and TV

Room cleaning staff were incompetent. 3-day stay and room was only cleaned once.

Breakfast was just ok, very standard and mostly unhealthy. Bed comfort was just ok

I luv the hotel, everything is right there and the room was nice and clean. The problem was it seems like after you check in you really get no help. I called front desk about the internet not working, it took twice of me calling before anyone answer (which is not a problem it gets busy) but when he picked up the phone kinda off than rushed me with his answer and hung up in my face. Now usually i would've went down and confronted him but i let it go and we went without internet for the boys Playstation but its cool cause we stayed busy outside the room. But other than that the stay was great.

The Staybridge Suites was in a great location for our needs. We didn't want to stay in Niagara Falls proper so this was about a ten minute drive to the falls. Breakfast was great and the hotel had a social hour that included free quality beer options. This was also a nice central location to the wine region. My only complaint that the establishment only has two elevators. The hotel was very full for a local sports competition so navigating the usage was tricky and we took the stairs on some occasions. Overall a great stay!
