Excellent hotel with friendly staff.

Staff, the overall beauty of the building inside and out. Restaurant is top notc, rooms are amazing and OHhe pillows!!

Very nice hotel centrally located in Downtown. Recently renovated 9th floor harbour-view. The room was very spacious, with nice fixtures and materials including a great shower and fantastic black-out blinds.

The view was great and close to everything.

Amazing staff and amenities . We arrived early from our flight and were very tired - took the chance on asking for early check in - so kind . Great location walk to all .

The bathroom smelled like cigarette smoke. Only in the toilet stall as if someone was trying to blow the smoke into the vent. I called downstairs to ask for an ozone machine and they put one in while we went out. We came back after 1.5 hours and the smell was better. However, the cigarette smell returned by morning. Calling the front desk was near impossible to hear the employee because the lobby was so loud. The employee could barely hear us as well. An employee called our room at 10:30pm that night to ask if they could come get the ozone machine, waking us up (we had already placed it in the hall when we went to bed). Again, we could barely hear them and they us due to the lobby noise. It was very unpleasant to have that noise blasting in your ear, especially when being woken up. Whoever decided to put the front desk right in the middle of 2 bars should be fired. At the very least, have the phones be noise canceling or have the phones in a separate room. It's ridiculous. We have stayed at this hotel a half dozen times and it is usually pleasant, although the lobby is always loud and busy. The hotel is beautiful, but the quality of the stay seems to decrease every time we stay. To the point where this time my wife said to book somewhere else next time due to the unwelcomed wake up call being the last straw.

This property was so convenient to everything we needed. Not only was the staff super friendly, but the room was beautiful and the bed/pillow comfort was AMAZING.

Downtown area with fair pricing

Parking/valet is congested and a long wait time for vehicle. Traffic is very loud and heard all night.

I had an excellent stay. It was in the perfect location and the staff and hotel were wonderful! I will definitely return when in Halifax again!

Everything was excellent. The only draw back was that the hot tub and patio was closed for construction, but that happens. The stay outperformed expectations.
