I couldn't believe how comfortable the beds were. 11/10 If I'm ever in the area again, I'll be booking here.

The staff was excellent and professional m.

Very basic room in older building. Staff were very friendly, check in was easy.

The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. Our room was not clean and the furniture was very worn out. We were supposed to stay for two nights but only stayed for one. The hotel is in need of updating.

Lots of variety for breakfast. Older building but very clean and comfortable. Staff excellent. Loads of parking, and a nice area provided for sitting outdoors.

staff were great. they told us about some places to eat and where a couple of beaches were.

Overall good but couch need a steam clean. Not sure about carpeted floors as they allow pets. People next door had a dog that woke us up at 6:45 barking. Staff were very good

The room was great. The staff was courteous and helpful if I had one note of consideration, and this is purely from a suggestion standpoint, the breakfast nook could be laid out better because it creates a bottleneck.

Wouldn’t recommend. We’ve had several hotels throughout the years. High end, low end and everything in between including several in this price range. This one is tied for bottom place. I don’t like giving bad reviews but this deserved one. We booked this for a couple of months prior to arrival. It took a very long time checking in, granted I think she was new and still learning. She told me next time not go through Expedia but through their website because it was easier. I went out to get our luggage and my wife wasn’t happy as she said it looked like someone got fired outside; colourful language with the manager saying. “If you don’t like it leave”. I guess she left. It wasn’t a good start. Keep those conversations in the office, not the parking lot. The room was clean but looked like it was missing furniture. The sliding door was also unlocked. The Billy-rigging to lock it was interesting to say the least. The king bed had a Queen headboard and only one night stand. I had to put my phone, glasses and CPAP on the floor. Only one chair. TV was the size of a computer monitor. Room was directly across from the staff room, you could hear staff going in and out that evening to morning. Someone slammed it, I thought it was our door. I wonder if it was because we booked it through Expedia and they gave us the worst one. As we passed other rooms we noticed they were much nicer. We obviously got the worst room. Didn’t have breakfast as we just wanted to leave there.

Hotel is very outdated. The sink was rusty, there were stains on the bedspread and chairs, and the air conditioner looked like it hadn't been replaced since the 1980s (or even earlier). It really feels like the property hasn't been renovated in decades.Room is extremely moist , found two earwigs(this bug is sign of excessive moisture) If you're traveling with more than four people, be careful. We have three children, and unlike many other hotels that either allow an extra child for a fee or simply don't make an issue of it, we were told we had to book and pay for a second room. The receptionist, who was also the owner/manager, was very friendly and talkative. She explained that she didn't want to have any issues with the fire inspector. While I understand the policy, it ended up costing us about the same as staying at a much nicer hotel with a pool and rooms designed for five guests. Lesson learned..our mistake. We tried to save money and ended up paying twice. Next year we'll book a better hotel with family-sized rooms and a pool instead of this place. On the positive side, the room was clean, and the breakfast, while simple, was decent. Good location. Overall, this motel doesn't seem to be geared toward families. It feels more suited to truck drivers, workers, or travelers just passing through.

Les membres du personnel sont sympathique et serviable. Les restaurants, magasins, etc sont a une distance très raisonnable. À 20 minutes de voiture de Lunenburg. Parcontre lors de notre arrivée à notre chambre... Le ménage avait été fait très grossièrement. Nous avons trouvé une boucle d'oreilles et des petites roches sur le tapis de chambre. Donc aucune aspirateur n'avais été passé lors du ménage avant notre arrivée. Le plancher de la salle de bain avait pleins de cheveux en touffes pas ramasser et le fond du bain était vraiment sale. Tâches noires au fond et traces de savons tout autour du bain. Il y avait même une débarbouillette du client qui avait passé au paravent.

Staff were excellent, breakfast was good but there was a musty odour in our room.

This hotel was not somewhere we would ever recommend. The staff at the front desk was lovely and helped us get a refund as we would not bring ourselves to stay in the hotel. It smelled awful, the beds were rock hard, the hotel is old and run down. Decorated with crayon pictures the kids coloured.

Convenient location- we had hoped to get to Halifax after the Bar Harbor to Yarmouth Ferry and wound up in Bridgewater. This hotel was easy to book, room was clean, breakfast was good, and it had a comfortable bed. The staff were amazing. Would book this again while traveling up the Eastern Coast.

For breakfast .. would have like to see a little bit more protein and fruits …… way tooo much carbs. Stay was comfortable. Staff was friendly
