Travelodge by Wyndham McBride

This hotel is extremely run down and dated. Our room, in particular, you could see that the door had been kicked in at some point. The frame needs to be replaced. The door itself did not have a safety latch it was broken right off. Outside our room, the exterior lighting was broken. Our room was fairly clean, the microwave had not been wiped down, and the mat in the bathroom was still soiled from previous guest. The room was probably the cleanest space in the entire hotel. The lobby was dirty and people behind the counter. We're on phones or uninterested in assisting. The continental breakfast room was extremely dirty, it did not look like the kitchen items had been wiped down in a month The two mornings we were there I did not see a table wiped down once after a guest used it. We came as a group and the staff only refilled items when asked and it seemed like they didn't want to do it even when requested. We booked a month in advance, so there was no reason they were not prepared for our large group. The entrance must have been dug up at some point, because there is a huge rut along the entire length that needs repaired.

Bed Bugs

Room was great. Staff were friendly. But the hot tub was in poor shape. Black mold on the walls and ceiling.

Overall the motel was good. Rooms are clean and up dated. The bed was a little old but thqts normal.

Better stay this time than we hard last year.

The beds were very uncomfortable, they seemed to be at least 30 years old. The continental breakfast was terrible. No selection of any hot food. Only 2 options of cold cereal, one of which was empty. Needs much upgrading.

Nice warm quiet room even though it’s near the highway

Everything was fine, we didn't have the breakfast but it did look good.

No crib or playpen for people with babies. Door was broken and bathroom was unclean

The room was not clean. The water in the hot tub was green, they charge me an extra $100 dollars for no reason and the staff was unhelpful and full of excuses and the contenental breakfast was a joke.

The tv was extremely hard to use with no written instructions to follow. I tried to call the office from the room but the phone never worked, this is a HUGE safety hazard. The pitcher that the milk was in was dirty and it had dried old milk on it. I had to asked to have it cleaned. Coming from an other hotel the night before I felt the difference right away. Going cheap is not the best approach to bring in guests.

Decent accommodation. Basic and clean. The coffee was good!

Not many breakfast options but acceptable

The location was good but pulling into parking lot was pothole heaven and in rough condition. The room looked nice at first but beds were awfully uncomfortable and bathroom filthy. Baseboards were lined with dust and dirt build up. Tub surround caulking cracked and paint chipping off wall. The towels were exfoliating devices to remove skin when used and for 2 grown adults you get 2 small towels. One of the 2 queen beds when sat/laid on made an awful creaking/squeak when you try to move on it. Paid more money to stay here compared to other hotels in town because reviews said it was good but barely slept as beds are very awful.
