Very clean

WE arrived and were assigned a room on the second flor. But the elevator was not working and we did not want to lug our luggage up the stairs. So they reassigned us to a room in the motel. We checked out the room and it was substandard. In my wife's words, the kind of room you might expect to be rented by the hour. We went back and cancelled our reservation and went to another hotel. The desk clerk said the room had been cancelled but that it was up to Expedia to refund our money. So please reverse those charges. We took the reservation partly because Travelodge is a large hotel chain and we expected their standards would be high for all their hotels. This does not seem to be the case. We learned later that the hotel is in a high crime area frequented by drinks and riff-raff, even though it behind a police station. In any event, we were not impressed.

I went to use the shower and there was a clump of hair stick to the wall and pubic hair on the surround. Ick. Also, the elevator does not work.

The bed was wonderful. The cold temperature of the room was not. Front staff provided a small electric heater which I had to run all night to stay warm. There was no hot water for washing or bathing.

Amazing breakfast with sausage, bacon, omelet, pancake, etc. Amazing price, but it is in an old hotel in the old part of town. Do not go there if you want the best looking hotel in the best part of town. Rcmp is next door so it was/seem safe.

There is nothing good about this hotel. Its outdated, run down, dirty, grungy, and has NO AC!

The room was too small. Took forever to get hot water in the morning. The property needs a major facelift.

Low cost. Clean and modern room. Surprising range of breakfast options including omeletes that were frozen that you could reheat. My second time staying here. The neighbourhood may not match what some may want, but, it did not bother me and I felt safe. Worth it because the other options in town are so much more expensive.

Overall cleanliness and room. Carpets weren’t vacuumed, air conditioning didn’t work, elevator didn’t work ( had to dragged everything up the stairs including a large cooler).

Not as advertised in the photos. Room was filthy as was the outer part of the hotel. Advertised as hotel, but put us in motel section of the facility. Old baseboard heaters falling off the walls, no heat at all in the first room we were put in. What looked like blood on curtains, mould growing in bathroom, cracked floor tiles, baseboards falling off, cracked and peeling paint and the list goes on. And conveniently non refundable reservations. Expedia should remove this from their list of offerings, it is not up to the standard I have come to expect when booking through Expedia.

This place was absolutely disgusting mould on the walls paint falling off plaster falling off. Homeless people begging all over the premises. Would never stay at any of these travel logs anymore.

People were drinking all night in next room. Random people were knocking on our door putting their arm in the window trying to unlock the door. Call the front desk they did nothing about it, only told us close the window. No choice but keep window open because of no AC in the room. The room was extremely hot with no air circulation. We all had a terrible sleep. The least the front desk should have done was talked with the tenants of the next room to keep the noisy level down and keep people away from other rooms. No restaurant within walking distance, no pool, and no store. Not safe to walk around after dark. It’s a shame the hotel is located in the down town core as there are no open facilities that could accommodate guests.

Heat did not work. Shower would not drain. Elevator broken, pool out of service, no offer for compensation. Will never be back
