Western Lodge

Our family stayed this past weekend at the Western Lodge. I have to say, we do not normally stay in Motels but I have to commend Donna and the team at Western Lodge. They have do a lot to make an older building more modern. The decor when you arrive is lovely. The breakfast room is large and spacious, linens and towels are new and fresh. The beds were firm but soft and we didn't have those giants pillows that make it so hard to sleep at night. Donna was the real star of the lodge. She will go out of her way to make you feel at home. How many places have you stayed where you actually know the name of your receptionist. She is kind hearted, tended to my quereies and gave us the best possible service. Thank you, Donna!

Loved the modern touches and obvious attention to detail. Room was bright, warm and beds were comfortable. Exactly as expected. The resteraunt downstairs was perfect...food, drinks, pool table, darts. All around great stay!

Great place for the price and the staff are amazing

Reception went well, but our room did not get cleaned even though we were out at 8:30 am and not back until 4:00. We had the sign on the door requesting the room to be made up. The toilet runs on, and the bathroom ceiling fan needs to be cleaned.

The room was a bit shabby and the building is a bit of a maze. The staff were helpful and friendly.

Truly, I’m cool with a budget hotel. For the price though, I don’t feel I got what I paid for. Plus, very cold room : and I’m a very warm person. That said the room had everything needed and was clean. had a keureg and actual coffee cream so those were a win.

Room had stains on rug, rusty drains, loud bathroom fan and heater, not many plug ins, cracked bathroom tiles, poor door locking system, no in person check in or out.

I was the only guest so not really a fair review. Got ripped off by Expedia and will never book with them again. They charged me more than the hotel rate and wouldn’t reimburse me the difference between their rate and actual hotel rate. Expedia actually stole $70 from me Because there were very few guests the front desk wasn’t occupied enough

Rooms were a little small and very few outlets in the room. The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. I would stay here again

The room smelled like smoke, and the floor leaked through the tile. The whole place needs an upgrade.

It was such a beautiful and welcoming place. The lady at the front desk set the mood right from the moment we met. It was like being welcomed home! You can see great love is put into the upkeep of the property. It may not be the Ritz but it is where I would prefer to stay any day. Loved it & thank you for the memories.

Amazings staff on site. Donna was there to make our stay very special. Breakfast had coffee, juice boxes, bread, scrambled eggs, sausage, and potato. "The porch" restaurant was also really good. Great staff.

Convenient dining snd rooms

Donna was the only staff we met and she was a darling. Very friendly and helpful. The breakfast served the following morning was a very nice variety and Donna was on site - pleasant and welcoming. The room was small, not the cleanest carpet and certainly the bathroom needed renovations. However, both queen beds were very comfortable. Overall, we would definitely return. Note - next booking will be directly with Western Lodge. This booking was thru Expedia and I was overcharged $50 - which I've every intention to receive a credit for.

We did not receive a room code to enter. There was absolutely no one to contact , and no VIP package was left for us, as stated it would be. We had to stay at another property .

I would stay again! Comfortable room.

Perfect for what we needed for our overnight stay. Staff were friendly and the rooms were clean.
