Woodbine Hotel and Suites

It's fairly clean with moderate level of service. But the room we got felt a little too stuffy. Also it's been almost a week since and the security deposit still hasnt been credited back to my account.

Great place for a cheap stay. Nothing fancy, just older with signs of wear on everything but who cares, AC worked but that was in 10 degree weather outside. Free breakfast was solid also.

Reception staff was very friendly and accommodating when I arrived early. He let me do an early checkin without a charge, provided I downgrade from a King bedroom to a Queen bedroom (they didnt have a king available for the early checkin) which to me wasn't a problem. The hotel itself is quite beautiful but outdated. It desperately needs to be updated. The bathroom fan was very loud and couldn't be turned off. The heater/AC was also loud when on. Breakfast was disappointing, all juices and the coffee were watered down. There weren't many options either. From the dining hall I could hear gospel music coming from the cellphone of a staff working in the breakfast area. I found that to be a disturbance for guests. All in all, it was OK for the price I paid, thanks to the male overnight reception staff that was very accommodating. The place has the potential to be much a better hotel, but they seem to be cutting corners which lowers quality of guest experience (and their reviews).

Lacks Plug ins and air Heat/air conditioner was hard to manage and could be updated in the rooms I booked

Bathroom door stained rotting, Safety bar in tub is only attached at one end, no rubber mat or other material to prevent slipping. TV didn’t work, charger for cellphone on lamp didn’t work. The charger behind the tv worked but only if the tv power was on. White stains on curtain. Very small pillows 15” x 15” The room was very run down. Hallways were nice. Mattress was comfortable. Morning staff no smiles no greeting from kitchen staff or desk staff. When I stated that we were checking out. The receptionist stood from her chair, I noticed the key drop box, I asked if this is where I put the keys, her response was “yup” nothing else. Based on our experience, unfortunately, I would not recommend or return to this hotel

Easy access to rooms, quiet inside with no bleed from neighbouring rooms. A pleasant experience overall.

Not sure if the beddings are new and clean. Saw hairs on the beds. The bathtub was clogged. The front desk employees are nice to talk to, but others like the breakfast and housekeeping are not so friendly. You will adjust with their kind of behaviour as a guest, lol.

Every thing is just fine. There is a smell I don’t like not sure what is that smell.

The hotel staff was very accommodating. Especially with an early check in and a late check out.

Hotel is outdated and kinda falling apart! Didn’t expect anything fancy considering the price.

Old hotel, needs an internal update and working electronics. No tv and some light switches didnt work.

Property outside was nice and clean ... Inside is old .. room was small that was basically enough for the queen bed .. carpeting dirty looking ... No remote for the small tv .. had to wait an hour .. the ironing board was broken and stained .. finally replaced after a couple of hours ... Not worth the amount charged for the room ... Will not be going there again !
