Hilton Cabo Verde is an excellent location for families. We enjoyed 7 nights here and had a great time especially the access to a quiet, clean, and beach with turquoise water. There was even a centre for scuba diving activities. We also managed to use the spa and get some great massages esp as we got the July discount. Rooms are spacious and well kept.

Convenient but staff service especially receptionists could improve

We did a 4 night stay on Sal Island and decided to splurge on a hotel. Yes, it was expensive but it really was fantastic. The on property pool is beautiful and has a restaurant right there serving good pizza and other food. There is also another restaurant a short walk away on the beach with a beautiful view of the ocean. The breakfast was fantastic and the room was big enough for a family of 3. We had a great time here. It is always at a quiet end of the beach so you are away from all of the sellers but only a short 5-10 minute walk from the busy part of town. There is also a medical facility across the street with English speakers which was great since our daughter got sick while staying there. Great hotel!

Facilities were all good, but the food and service were both very mediocre. Tourism on the island is still very much developing.

Nice hotel with great staff. The main beach restaurant was closed as they had a private party which was a disappointment as we wanted to book for a birthday dinner.

when I arrived there was no welcome. no one takes your bags, they don't give you information, they are very very disorganized, the restaurants in the structure are a disaster, the staff doesn't pay attention to anything. you wait for everything for a very long time. I left the structure and the island two days before and I was very pissed off. it's expensive and I don't recommend it to anyone
