Rodrigo is an amazing hostel manager and was very respective and communicative to me during my stay (even when we both spoke different languages). Walkable to the main tourist street in Atacama but is far enough from dealing with the commotion.

The rooms were clean and well appointed. The bed comfortable. The staff/manager was friendly and helpful. The house cats gave a relaxed feel. An excellent coffee and pastry shop within a 5 minute walk. It was open for takeout at 4:30 am, in time to grab a capuchino or otherwise. There were food stalls, mini markets and a super Mercado within 2 minutes. And it is within a 15 minute walk from the center of shopping and where the toy buses drop you off. Quiet, excellent value for the price, clean. I liked it.

Had a fantastic stay here. The room was spacious, clean and felt new. The kitchen was spotless, had all basic condiments like oil, sugar, salt and coffee. The utensils were new and perfect. Loved the courtyard too.

I enjoyed my stay at Hostal Atacama Ancestral! It was a 10 min walk to the central plaza. The rooms are spacious and private with hot water! I would highly recommend and very good price for the area.

The hostel is ultra clean and in good repair. The staff that I encountered were polite and helpful. My only complaint relates to noise. Someone next to the hostel started playing very loud music at 4:00 AM. It continued until 5:40 AM, when the police shut it down. Shouldn’t reflect on the hostel itself, but perhaps it is a commentary on the neighborhood in which it is situated.

Hostal is very well located, far from the crowd and within reasonable walking distance to Main Street called Caracoles. There are two markets nearby for your grocery shopping. Owners provided a key for the room (I booked the double with private bedroom) and that really ease my stay. Room was clean and tidy. Yet this is a hostal doesn’t mean it shall not be well maintained but these may be details for some. Add offers breakfast but there are only tea bags and sugar. However not really needed as I took 5 tours and mostly spent time outside. As you open the hostal main door you get a magnificent view of the volcano

it was clean, and close to center of town. Communication with owner is through WhatsApp. The electricity goes on and off at night, in the area and no generator is installed at the hostal. The price is good for what they offer.

O hostel é super limpo e organizado, tem tudo o que é necessário, até secador de cabelo. O Rodrigo é muito gentil e se dispôs pra ajudar no que for necessário. É um bom custo benefício.

É uma pousada de família. A localização era boa, o host nos atendeu sempre pelo whatsapp. O quarto era grande, a cama era boa, as cobertas deram conta do frio. Dormimos muito bem. Os banheiros sempre limpos e cheirosos. A cozinha também, sempre limpa e organizada. Tinha fogão, geladeira, chaleira elétrica, panelas, talheres e pratos (não tinha microondas) Além disso, tinha uma dispensa de itens para uso como azeite, sal, açúcar, café, chá, guardanapos (isso nos ajudou muito). Na área dos corredores, área externa, as vezes ficava com poeira de areia no chão, mas sendo uma região de deserto não tem como evitar. Os banheiros compartilhados sempre estavam vazios. Não tivemos problema com banho nem com a água quente. Estacionamos o carro na frente e não tivemos problemas. Voltaria a ficar nessa hospedagem futuramente. (Um beijo pra Luna :)

Hostel bem receptivo e pertinho da caracoles no atacama, a saída do hostel tem uma vista linda para as montanhas. Valeu muito a pena ter ficado no quarto.

Rodrigo foi muito atencioso desde os dias anteriores à chegada, dando todas as informações necessárias. Porque não estava completamente ocupado, gentilmente nos permitiu um check-in antecipado. Limpeza adequada e cama confortável com cobertas para frio rigoroso, se for preciso. Enquanto estivemos lá, a água esquentou corretamente. Cozinha com todo o necessário para o preparo de refeições. Localização próxima à Rua Caracoles onde está todo o comércio turístico (lojas, refeições e agências de turismo). Quiosques para compras rápidas e urgentes muito próximos da propriedade também. O apartamento é pequeno mas, afinal, quem vai à San Pedro para ficar no hotel??? Atendeu-nos perfeitamente. Recomendado.
