Pésima atención al cliente, maltrato y deficiencias en el servicio – Reserva Hotels.com A la Gerencia del Hotel El Dorado Concepción: Por la presente, presento un reclamo formal en contra de la recepcionista Rocío Guevara, por su comportamiento inaceptable, falta de ética profesional y altanería durante nuestra estancia iniciada el pasado 7 de febrero de 2026. Detalle de los hechos: Trato irrespetuoso y falta de soluciones: Al momento de nuestro arribo, la Sra. Guevara se comportó de forma hostil y prepotente. Ante nuestra demora por fuerza mayor (múltiples accidentes y congestión extrema en la ruta Santiago-Concepción), su respuesta fue recriminar de forma altanera que "no hubiéramos llamado", ignorando que la reserva ya se encontraba totalmente pagada. Cuestionamiento del canal de venta: La recepcionista cuestionó de manera impertinente por qué no reservamos directamente con el hotel, denostando el uso de la plataforma Hotels.com. Es inaceptable que un funcionario hostigue al cliente por utilizar canales oficiales de venta que el propio hotel pone a disposición para su oferta comercial. Asignación de habitación en represalia: Si bien finalmente se nos entregó habitación, se percibió una clara actitud de revancha. Se nos asignó una habitación en condiciones deplorables: de tamaño reducido, sin aire acondicionado, con una contaminación acústica insoportable proveniente de la recepción y con un flujo constante de agua, (ruido de cañerías/filtración) q impidió el descanso

Outstanding customer service, friendly staff, nice, clean rooms in excellent condition (I’ve stayed 3 times in 3 different rooms), great breakfast, great restaurant, excellent location with everything you need right outside the door.

The room was clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Good location. Good WiFi connection. Good breakfast. Overall, a pleasant experience.

Traditional hotel in the civic center of Concepción. 24 hours garage/courtyard parking. Friendly staff, clean hotel, while room with carpet. Old bed/soft mattress.

Best to stay in Downtown Concepcion. Compare to El Araucano this has a real parking lot. That's what make the difference.

Hotel El Dorado is a bit run down but honestly is a fine value for the money. Our beds were comfortable and the sheets clean. The breakfast was not great but had enough options for most. The hotel is on one of Concepcion’s central streets, but it wad not particularly lively during our weekend nights there. Oh, there is no air conditioning, but a window opens in each room, and that was good enough.

We arrived before checkin and were allowed to get in our room, nice after a long flight. Parking was easy off the street and in a secure lot and the bellman helped us with our bags right away. At night a nearby restaurant was a great choice to walk to and there was a bank across the street to get a good exchange from US $ to pesos. The next night we ate at the hotel restaurant which was fine. Their breakfast each morning started our day’s adventures.

O hotel é bem localizado, os quartos são confortáveis, os funcionários são simpáticos.

This hotel was not what we expected. It is older and it shows. Still, the beds were comfortable. The rooms are very clean. The staff are great! We liked the food very much. We stayed only one night but it was memorable.

Wi-Fi connection at my room was terrible, and when I communicated this to the front desk, they did not believe me, saying that nobody else has complained. I won’t recommend it!

Es un buen hotel, y se presenta como una buena experiencia, si se debe considerar que el hotel es mas viejo, por lo que hay pequeñas cosas y detalles. Tiene buen desayuno, con variedad y cantidad de cosas. Las piezas a pesar de tener excelente luz, no poseen demasiada ventilación ni aire acondicionado, para soportar el calor que se acumulaba

La cama era cómoda, el desayuno muy bueno.

Very nice people. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom is setup pretty crazy. The radiator on the wall is right next to the toilet. I where are you could easily get burned on. Because the control valve is stripped off. Between the tub door, able to close the door. The radiator in the back is to fall off the wall control the heat on them also.

Breakfast was a bit underwhelming. Staff were friendly and courteous.

El personal a cargo de la recepcion muy atentos, el personal de aseo impecable, en especial al señor a cargo cafeteria una gran persona, genial la estadia.
