Marriott Executive Apartments Chongqing

Absolutely 10 out of 10. Very nice apartment and very clean and feel extremely comfortable with everything. Definitely will choose this place again next time when we travel to Chongqing.

Amazing staff

Marriott Executive Apartments Chongqing offers a very convenient location near Jiefangbei, Shibati, and Bayi, all within walking distance. The night-shift receptionist over several evenings was especially helpful—assisting with Taobao deliveries, reservation requests, and even providing a clear tutorial on using Meituan delivery. The room is functional and comfortable, though the bathroom design could be improved with a blind to better separate the toilet and bathing area, as it is currently visible from the room. A minor design issue overall, and I would still return for another stay.

Staff was courteous and accommodating during our stay

It’s a great place to stay in Chongqing, location is very convenient and staff are very friendly and welcoming. Room is clean and comfortable, washroom/dryer in the room.

Room was very clean and spacious. Amenities were ample. The location is perfect being so close to shops, restaurants and to the metro station. We had a great stay.

Excellent location. Within walking distance to most of the tourist areas. We received an upgrade of our 2 single rooms to a 2 room apartment with a sitting area. The apartment was very clean, it was one of the best Marriott bonvoy apartment we have visited.

Room is spacious and clean. It's in the center of the city, close to the liberation tower. Overall a nice hotel. But the sound insulation seems not too great, heard poeple talking in corridor and the first night there was someone in the lower room talking loudly and slam doors until 2am which is pretty annoying.

Highly recommended if you're in Chongqing. We had a great experience from check-in to check-out. Breakfast was awesome. Everyone there were so courteous and friendly. Will definitely stay here again.

Excellent location - right in CBD centre and everything was very walkable in distance - particularly food streets Front man was eager to help with luggage and very nice to have your own laundry and dryer in the room. One negative was - it was quite loud! But that is probably due to the location being next to a busy city street

Friendly staff and nice location

The room was excellent condition. Its gives a luxurious apartment feeling. The room comes with washing machine, dryer l, huge fridge, dish washer and kitchen induction stove. Well equipped. Service are tiptop and staffs are willing to assist whenever required. The location is centralised. Every tourist are very near. Food stalls ranging from restaurants and street food are also nearby. If i ever go Chongqing again i will book my room there.

We absolutely loved our stay here and only wish we could have stayed longer! The room was well-equipped with a washer and dryer, and the breakfast was delicious—such a great way to start the day! A special thank you to **Sunny** for her incredible help in coordinating my delivery. Since I didn’t have the Chinese app to arrange it myself, her initiative and constant updates were a lifesaver. I’m so grateful for her kindness and efficiency—Sunny, you’re the best! All the other staff members were also wonderful, making our stay comfortable and memorable. We’ll definitely book this hotel again whenever we’re back in Chongqing!

Lots of food within walking distance

Home away from home.

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights and in many ways it was a good stay. The location is fantastic, a stones throw from the MRT and food heaven. We had a one bed apartment that was labelled as deluxe and with a city view. The apartment was enormous, very clean but the view was more of air conditioning units than of the city. They were generous with the bottled water in the room, as well as the amenities. The bed was divine, so comfortable with great pillows. Bathroom was great, with lovely toiletries. The WiFi is fast. The room was cleaned promptly each day and to a very high standard. Things that let this hotel down include the very slow lifts from the entrance to the lobby floor. The sofa in the room was quite uncomfortable. There are signs everywhere labelled as ‘tips’ but warning that you will be charged if you leave any washing up, charged for washing up liquid, what you can and can’t do in the residents lounge, it just feels rude and unnecessary. Oddly, there were extra bottles of water in the room clearly marked at an eye-watering 68 CNY each, which seemed excessive. We were also disappointed to find that swimming in the pool was only permitted if you wore a swim cap — something we’ve not encountered in other hotels in China. Unfortunately, staff weren’t able to help us source one. In summary, while there were definitely some highlights, the negatives have put me off choosing the Marriott Executive Apartments brand in the future. It’s a real shame, especially
