Rooms clean. Excellent location. Only thing is this place was very hard to find initially. The entrance is at the back of the building. Didn’t help the expedia location is wrong. The reception is on the 7th floor.

Travel with ease using metro which is next to the hotel door. Never been this convenient. Plus, when the price is concerned, it's supurb for the amount you pay.

The hotel is close to metro stations and it is very easy to locate. We had no trouble checking in or out and the staff was very friendly. Inside the room, there are a few tiny details (e.g. wood panels balancing the mini fridge) that are not so nice, but overall the room was in a nice condition. We encountered no trouble during the entire stay. The hotel (room, corridor and lobby) was clean and tidy. It was comfortable and pleasant staying there.

The room was great. The only thing that wasn’t good was the smell of cigarette smoke in the middle of the night. Not sure where it came from but noticeable and he air conditioner didn’t work well in the unit we were in. Otherwise, super convenient location and comfortable enough stay.

Walking distance to Tianhe and other malls nearby . Gangding , the electronics supermart is 01 metro stop away.

Located just beside Taikoo mall in Tianhe. Lot of amenities, food located around. You can either take a train or airport bus that stop at fortune centre and walk down the main road to reach Timmy.
The room was value for money but the wifi signal is kinda unstable at times. But I guess that is the same everywhere for China from my travels in different cities in China.

We booked Superior twin room for five nights with complete payment in advance but when we checked in, we were given standard room saying that superior room is not available and it will be given on the next day. Next day also we were not given the booked room and were left with no other choice but to stay in standard room. Third day morning we checked out of the hotel as it was our worst experience ever. This hotel is a bunch of cheaters.

I like Timmy hotel, I have stayed there several times. The location is very good and the subway is just around the corner. Basically the lobby is not very nice but the checkin was very fast, The hotel is old, the room I got was remodeled and spacious. Breakfast is OK. It has a good rate during Canton Fair when all hotels in Guangzhou are so expensive. Internet however is very unstable.
