Stayed at this brilliant hotel for a month. I love the staff they are all so friendly and helpful, the breakfast was great and the restaurant also did really nice food. The location do the hotel is a positive too, lots of things to do locally and close to the metro. Great stay made even better by great staff.

I loved this hotel. The welcome gift is really nice, just the fact the put thought into it makes me smile. The staff are amazing and friendly, they helped me book all the trains for the main attractions and moving cities. There are so many food options nearby and a nice cute town right behind the hotel. I will definitely stay here again.

This hotel is perfect. The location is brilliant and the staff could not be more helpful. The price is such good value. At first I was sceptical due to the low price. But I had no need to be. Great hotel with even better staff.

Hotel has its unique charm with an open courtyard for enjoying a hearty breakfast of eastern and western spread. The staff was exceptionally helpful in their advice and assistance; making my stay exceptionally special. Their assistance in every respect was beyond my expectation. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Even tea was available for sale. Location is brilliant for access to Wen Shu Monastery with its special paintings and calligraphy for me. Easy access to the restaurants and shops a plus indeed besides the historical pastry shop opposite the hotel. Thank you.

This hotel was amazing! It is one of the best hotel’s I’ve ever stayed in. The front desk staff spoke English and was super helpful! The location is AMAZING! The room was super spacious. We had some trouble with the wifi and the AC could have worked better.

As this was my first trip to China and I chose this hotel without any direction or knowledge of the property I will say this. I really was treated by the staff excellent and enjoyed their friendliness and their professionalism. I couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. I would highly recommend this property as the place to stay. I will for sure return to China and will stay here again.

A little hard to find as it is off street but maybe getting didi instructions to a restaurant on the street will be helpful to future travelers. So friendly and knowledgeable. Food was amazing. Eat at the stall across the street and find a local hot pot

Excellent stay! The place is in the center location yet in a pretty quiet ally. A little difficult to find for the first time. Walkable distance to many popular locations. Service is great, breakfast is good

Fantastic Hotel in a really nice and convenient location to explore Chengdu. So much better than I expected for the price. Clean modern room, great breakfast, beautiful common courtyard and really friendly, helpful, English speaking staff who go out of their way to help with advice on things to do. Note when looking for the hotel the sign faces a pedestrian lane, not the street.

Good all around. The panda theme is very cute. Will stay again. They have one-day panda volunteers program. I’d love to join next time.

This gem is not easy to find. Despite Sophie’s detailed directions, we had a hard time finding it. Pro tip: the K exit off line 1 Wushu monastery stop does not have escalator. The station people did not offer a service elevator so we ended up taking B exit which resulted in a much longer walk to the hotel. Our room was excellent with complimentary basket of snacks and water bottles. The bathroom was extremely modern and well fitted. Washing machine is provided free of charge which was helpful. Breakfast was superb with a good selection of dim sum, stir fry dishes and western foods (e.g., bacon). Staff spoke fluent English and were extremely helpful in providing tips on where to buy things, arranging transportation etc. I frequented the palace pastry shop which was across from the hotel. Lots of restaurants abound but this hotel offers a competitive restaurant on site which we took advantage of because we were losing steam at the tail end of a long trip. If we ever return to Chengdu, we will definitely stay at Xishu again.

Rooms are small but adequate. Staff were personable and very helpful. I will stay there again.
