Yayue Collection Hotel (Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street)

The toilet was blocked. Floor was dirty. Room was cramped up. Was an uncomfortable stay. Area is convenient, near to train station and eateries.

This property serve guest with World map printed in every pillow unacceptable sleeping on dirty pillow / Bathroom shower compartment door unable to close stain all over the wall need to upgrade. Sad to booked this hotel.

Nobody at the hotel spoke a word of English, they used a translator app to communicate. Even though it said that the hotel was a non-smoking facility, people were smoking in the "lobby" and the room smelled like an mouldy ashtray. The room itself had no window, the window was in the adjunct bathroom. The walls and the door had lots of stains and wete partly sticky. A conversation with the receptionist ended with getting mire soap - the translation app did not work that good... The curtains were halfway ripped down. The positive thing about the hotel is its location, which is perfect for exploring Shanghai. To conclude with something positive: the bedsheets were clean and there were no cockroaches or rats in the room.
