More about hotels in Colombia
Choose a Colombian city for your stay
Colombia accommodation can place you in a Caribbean coastal city or in an inland urban setting among mountains. Cartagena and Medellín offer two different ways to shape the holiday. Decide which cities belong on your itinerary before comparing hotels within each one.
Cartagena for history and a Caribbean setting
Cartagena accommodation suits a visit that combines the city's historic centre with its coastal setting. Its walled city, stone streets and old buildings give heritage outings a clear focus.
Choose the hotel around the experience you want to return to each evening. A stay centred on the historic streets and one selected for time by the sea can offer different surroundings. Cartagena's coastal location does not mean that every hotel is beachfront.
Medellín for an inland city visit
Medellín hotels provide another base, with mountain scenery framing the city. Museums, public art and gardens make room for a cultural itinerary: the Museo de Antioquia and the city's Botero sculptures offer a different focus from a Caribbean stay.
Choose Medellín when you want time in the city itself, then narrow down the address through its local guide. It serves a different part of a Colombian journey from Cartagena.
Give each destination its own nights
For a longer holiday from the Philippines, arrange accommodation around the sequence of cities you plan to visit. Compare the actual room layout and included services within each stop. A single Colombia-wide nightly price cannot describe two different city stays on different dates.
