We love this hotel! Second time staying and just as good as the first. 20 hot springs, water slides and pool bars with TVs to relax. Nice staff and clean facilities

Loved this property during our stay, customer service was great, hot springs pools were amazing and not at all crowded. The breakfast buffet was ok, not very much variation between each day but it accomplished the job. The beautiful pools made up for any not so pleasant experience. Will definitely visit again.

The property is one of its kind and rated well with my expectations. The location is prominent enough with plenty of food options within and close by (within 5 min drive). The hot springs were the best part and parking was super convenient. Food was decent however, lacks variety. Morning breakfast was not the best and could have been better on both variety and quantity. Specially during the lag 30 min before closing. Restaurant staff were not that friendly and lacked energy. Not a deal breaker, as the front staff in reception area were great and friendly.

I gave this property a 3 because i expected much more for $500 a night. Complaints- poorly working air conditioner (the best it did was about 76 degrees), water never got very hot (i dont even like really hot showers but this was just luke warm), the food was ok, not great and the dinner buffet was awful (please skip it). The room had a dehumidifier that needed emptying 3 to 4 times a day. If i emptyed it before bed i was woken up very early in the morning to empty it again. If you don't have it running it get hotter in the room. It was raining off and on so maybe it's better if drier. Accolades- beautiful property, the pools were wonderful, the room's furnishings were nice and the staff were friendly and accommodating.

We stayed here 4 days, had a lovely junior suite, very large room and bath with private outdoor space surrounded by plants so felt very private. We enjoyed doing things in the Fortuna area and spending 1-2 hours in the hot springs pools each day. Night was very pretty with the colored lights on the pools and less people than during the day. Staff very helpful, including one who would give us rides in the golf cart back to our suite which was at the far wnd of property. Only issue were the dining options. We liked the included breakfast buffet very much, but thought the bar food and the two restaurants were only so-so.

Nice hotel and would recommend staying! Close to downtown La Fortuna via car and excursions. Hot springs were fun and very clean. Would not recommend buffet but overall was a great time, felt safe and comfortable. Breakfast was quick and easy and snacks were good! Easy stay and would recommend!

Pros: Amazing hot springs, good kids area (fun slides), everything was clean, cart rides if needed to rooms, great security, staff was great, location is perfect (close to volcano) and restaurants
Cons: Towels/locker area for day pass people was inconvenient, walking up hill (rooms far away), lots of people, limited restaurants, day pass people have to have cash for towels (inconvenient)

We stayed here for one night as a family of six.
The hot springs were great and it the pools were a nice mix of sizes and styles. It had more of a Vegas feeling than true nature which I didn’t expect. And everything on site was quite expensive.
I think if you’re looking for a hot spring experience with a swim up bar and a very mid buffet you’ll be happy. We did find the staff very hospitable and the Italian restaurant was pretty good. I think if we wanted to stay at a hot spring resort we would choose a smaller resort that felt a bit smaller But that’s just our preference

The property was amazing and if your focus is to spend time enjoying the assorted variety of hot spring pools in tropical environment then this place checks the boxes. It is a fairly small property and due to the majority of the property being filled with pools and related features don't expect to see much wildlife but overall it's a great place to stay. The rooms were great, the food in both restaurants I tried excellent, and the included breakfast buffet was vey good each morning.
