Had the best time at this beachside hotel. Very quaint with only a handful of rooms that are all steps to the ocean. The food was fabulous and the area was safe and walkable to other fabulous restaurants. Coco was our favourite beach, calm waves, beautiful sandy swimmable ocean! And best of all no one trying to sell you crap on the beach! Very walkable beach, we loved everything

The staff was very welcoming and helpful. They made us feel like we were right at home. I would recommend renting a car at the airport so you are able to explore the town, hit the local shops and enjoy the various restaurants.

Big clean room, huge bathroom, right on the beach, nice bar fridge to keep things cold. Friendly staff. Was noisy with the blaring of bass and music til 1:30 am but not sure where it was coming from and it was Saturday night).

Location was perfect however the quality of the premises was not good. We don’t expect a 5 star experience for this price but this hotel could certainly use upgrades. Shower and hot water was very hit and miss, some showers had near zero water pressure. Just overall a very tired property with seemingly no reinvestment into it

If there was less than one star I would have given it a Zero. Expedia should remove this place as an option to stay. It's basically a Cafe with some rooms for rent. The place does not look like the pictures and the staff was the rudest I encountered in my 10 days in Costa Rica. There was no hot water and crabs were in the shower. As guests we ordered drinks from the bar and after 40 mins we still did not get our drinks even after inquiring about them several times. We book the room for two nights but decided to leave a day early because of the conditions and the most unfriendly staff. Expedia should take this off their Web site. No Bueno Zero Stars Avoid this Place

Great for a room on the beach, really great food, and good restaurant service when not busy. Room was okay. Coffee is really excellent in your room! Like really, really good. Bathroom had lights out, was a little rough and could use some light reno for the rate. Initially, I was concerned about the room bejng so close to the pool and restaurant but they shutdown around 9pm, so it's really great. Hearing the waves at night is really peaceful, and overall really like the place. Server, Marisol, was very sweet, and her colleague is very professional. The restaurant manager does a good job inviting people in and filling the restaurant. However, the 2 servers do get a little stretched thin when the restaurant fills at dinner. Food is delicious in Costa Rica. Here was no exception: tuna tartar was top notch, and burger was exceptional although very thick and hard to handle 😂 Overall worth the price, will return!

The room was basic needs. No hair dryer or conditioner for instance. One of the staff members was amazing and brought me one from her house.! The area around doesn’t look that great. However, once you enter the gate, you feel in a cozy yard the fact that is on the beach with a beach café is awesome. You have the best access.

They didn't have any record of our reservation when we arrived. No real information provided. Wifi didn't work. The restaurant was okay but very overpriced. Also the listing indicated they had an airport shuttle but they do not which was they main reason we stayed there.

We planned this location to celebrate our 20th anniversary because it was right on the beach. The location was perfect, walking distance to Coco about 1/5 mile, right on the beach, and walking distance to several restaurants. It does not have any breakfast available, but the ladies in the morning are happy to refill the coffee for coffee service in the room. The air conditioning worked great in the room and the bed was comfortable. There was a refrigerator to keep a few things and when asked for water and ice, the restaurant staff was very helpful. The pool was also very clean even though it was older. This could be a cute little boutique hotel with a few improvements in the rooms and bathroom. We had hot water in the shower, the door didn't shut but no hot water in the sink. And the lighting was non existent in the bathroom. There was no way for my husband to shave at the sink. The other thing is we never ate at the restaurant. It was fairly expensive even compared to others. We had a few drinks and those were very expensive also. They did have a good selection of alcohol. The wait staff were very friendly and helpful, but had a lot of down time. Overall, we had a great experience and enjoyed ourselves. The staff was wonderful. All of the outside areas were always neat and tidy and well kept.

The male staff and female owner/manager were kind and helpful. The younger women that worked there were not, they just stared at me. The view of the beach and location was the reason I booked and that was great! The food was overpriced and not that tasty. 2 drinks, appetizer and coconut shrimp was $106 USD! There should be a curfew for kids in the pool, there were plenty noisy kids in the pool very late at night.
