It’s a beautiful property and the management did a very good job in providing some basic amenities and toiletries.

Amazing location, private yet close to town and activities, nearby cloud forest and one of a kind tree top dining experience. Great convenience of a full size house and on property indoor pool

Nice house. Houses are very close together but they did try to make them private. Plumbing issues with the shower and toilet. Staff wasnt the best. Sent multiple messages via whats app, email and expedia about our arrival but got no response. Also booked a tour through them but they didnt didnt give us the guides name which is absolutely necessary, this caused alot of confusion at the meeting area

What a great place to stay. We travelled with 2 adults and our 17 & 15 year old kids and everyone loved it, and were sad when it was tying to go. The only thing I would change is we stayed in the Monteverde house and the trees about the main suite hit the roof all night when it was windy, but not a big deal at all! Highly recommend!!

Beautiful mountain property, perfect for a family of four. The pool was an added bonus for our two young boys who love to swim!

Nice swimming pool with heated water. Good security and parking. Comfortable dwelling. Shower heat control set slightly low. Very responsive staff!

Location is great. Facilities are great. Front desk great. Felt that hot water did not last sufficiently long for a family of 4. Had golf cart parked on our parking space and when we tried driving around it to get to our unit we scratched car on the hedges which is unfortunate as it is a rental car. Some issues with bugs getting into the house which we had to remove as one of the members in our family was bug phobic.

The house was clean and spacious It was great to have separate rooms for my husband and I and our kids. There was a cool loft to sit and read or play games. We enjoyed having a kitchen to have snacks or meals. The pool was great too. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful cottage - spacious, very big separate bedroom with comfortable beds, looks like new, great kitchen, nice pool. Wish we could've stayed longer.

Beautiful apartment, clean and comfortable, however I could not sleep since the wind was so loud and the house seemed to be blown away, other than that, everything was perfect!

This place is beautiful and is very well taken care of. We loved that it was beautifully decorated and it had everything we needed in it. The host at reception was very friendly and offered his help and recommendations. The one thing that I would mention is the steep and scary drive into the property. It is quite steep in the area where you have to key in the code to get into the property. Obviously something no one can control, but that I think should be mentioned so that others can take into consideration.

I was pleasantly surprised at the beautiful interior. Everything was spotless, well decorated, and had all the amenities. The loft was so cute. The beds were incredibly comfortable. The staff was very helpful with information about the town and roads. Check in and check out were easy. I would stay here again

Clean, roomy, well equipped house.

Our family of 4 (11,13,44,45) stayed in a family villa at Green Forest Vacation homes in April of 2023. We loved our stay in the villa. I am not sure how I missed the "indoor pool" when booking, but that was a nice little surprise. The villa had a nice little kitchen with a full sized refrigerator. There was a nice living room area with plenty of room to sit and lounge around. We used the table and four chairs to play card games as a family. We used "WAZE" to get to the property from La Fortuna. It took us up a really rough road that can be avoided and we made sure to avoid it during future trips. Once we arrived, check in was a little confusing but we called the number and they let us know to check in just up the road at another hotel. Once we got to the check in desk, we were helped out and given great recommendations in the area. We had our tours booked ahead of time, but the office books all kinds of tours and adventures. Downtown Monteverde has very little parking. The young man who checked us in gave us a great suggestion on where to park so that we didn't have to walk too much each day. While we were there, the wind was really strong so if you are a light sleeper, you may want to have earplugs. A night mask may also help since the bedroom has a large glass section that doesn't get covered. I would recommend Green Forest Vacation Homes to a family that is looking to have an entire house to themselves while exploring Monteverde.

Would definitely recommend! The Monteverde unit was large and comfortable. The staff was very responsive and helpful.
