Beautiful property. Wonderful staff. Great view of Turrialba and the valley below. Lots of suggestions for activities. Grow and offer their own coffee, cheese, marmalade. Great breakfast. We’ll be back.

This property was lovely. The staff were very friendly and helpful but not overbearing. The rooms were comfortable and tastefully decorated. The gardens and trails were beautiful. Meals were delicious. I wish we had stayed longer!

Staff, breakfast and views from rooms and property were all wonderful. Very clean. Bed was not the most comfortable.

Peaceful and the service was stellar. If you dont want crowds, go during the beginning of June. The owner was so kind, excellent host, and purchase their coffee, Incredible quality! We will definitely revisit.

Guayabo Lodge was amazing Friendly and safe environment. The gardens were well kept and the birding prospect was to a different level… spectacular, We saw birds that we just impressive.

The property is beautiful with well kept gardens and plenty of beautiful birds. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The view is spectacular. The shower was excellent, good pressure and hot water.

The hotel is great , beautiful view of the mountains and valleys. Lobby is very nice set up and the design is pretty The room is clean kind of basis but the patio is nice and view of the mountains is peaceful. Quite . You can see the Turrialba Volcano The only thing that the driveway From the road to the Hotel is very rough big rock , made our drive uncomfortable Good thing that is not too long Other than that we enjoyed our stay We would recommended The breakfast was good, everything fresh and home made

We wanted to spend a couple quiet days/night together at the end of our vacation. The Guayabo Lodge was perfect. Such a beautiful part of the country with very comfortable climate. We would highly recommend.

The property is so beautiful with stunning grounds and a beautiful lodge with scenic views. Our room was spacious and very clean. The dinner served was excellent, and we were treated very well by all the staff members.

beautiful area with a gorgeous view. I enjoyed the gardens and bird watching all around. The owner is very hospitable, as is the staff. We had dinner at the hotel one evening and the beef was outstanding.

Amazing hidden paradise!! Loved everything about it!

A great friendly welcome we stayed here as we had visited Irazú volcano and Turrialba volcano as well as Guayabo national monument. Making a trip from one to the next…. Do not try to drive to Turrialba if you don’t have 4x4, local people told me the road, which I drove almost to the end, was FATAL… anyway that’s just a tip if that’s your plan. The hotel, lodge was fantastic. Our room spacious, comfortable and all we needed for an overnight stay, and womdeviews of the mountains around and a view of Turrialba Volcano behind us. Evening dinner was tasty and plentifully enough and enjoyed by all. We made use of the bar before dinner and played cards in the lounge area in the lodge. Travelling around a country there’s never enough time spent in one place, this place I wished we had spent a couple more days in. Thank you ❤️

Beautiful property and unbeatable views. The owner was so welcoming and the food was great!

the location is remote. the grounds are well-maintained and full of flowers. The weather did not cooperate with us so there was no view of the volcano. We had dinner at the Lodge because we arrived late and did not want to go explore other options and the food was great. A great option to stay close to Turrialba. I would recommend it.
