The staff very attentive and courteous.

Fantastic facility and wonderful staff. Food in the restaurant was outstanding!

Positives: (1) convenient central location and (2) excellent staff & service. Negatives: (1) we reserved & paid for a superior room with 2 double beds but reception said they didn’t have any available at check in and put us in a standard room with 1 double bed. (2) hot water in shower runs out very quickly. (3) internet in room is very weak & unreliable.

Hotel Zima is a great place to stay in the center of San Isidro. Staff is very good and we will definitely consider staying here again if in the area.

The rooms are run down. The floor had a giant dent. Our room was on the second floor and we were afraid the flooring would break and we would fall to the first floor. I am an architect and I could tell there was something wrong with the structure supporting the whole floor. If you walked you could hear the metal structure creaking and you could feel it tremble. We felt very unsafe. We had trouble sleeping, since the neighbors were running around you could hear and feel the whole floor and bed move. The tv was in pretty bad shape, had lines and dead pixels. When you showered you only had one minite of hot water. After one minute the water turned ice cold so you had to shut down the water and start running it again for the hot water to return for another minute. Overall the experience was awful. Thank goodness we only had to stay for one night. When telling the front desk manager about it he said no one has ever complained but I doubt it. Paying a $126 for that room is a scam. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Great value, central Perez Zeledon, newly updated rooms, reasonable prices, great staff. Will book there again.

Great Dinner and Breakfast

Very easy for tired travelers. Everything we needed was there. Comfortable beds, clean rooms, nice bathroom. Definitely recommend.

Perez Zeledon has few hotel, I have had the opportunity to stay in Los Crestones and Hotel del Sur, those are OK. I wanted to level up and stay in the supposed Perez Zeledon Best Western. We paid for the more expensive room to get a king bed...This hotel is terrible, it has structural issues, you sit in the bet and it feels like the whole place is going to colapse, the shower is terrible, not very clean and the "hot" water comes and goes, you cannot take a 5 min shower without having to step out due to cold or very hot water. And... not only that, at midnight someone had a party in their room!! so I had to go to the reception to have the security people to go to shut this people up. We decided to leave due to the terrible experience currently dealing with the refund.

The menu stated that fruit was included on any combination breakfast meal, but it was not.

I return to Zima for the garden beauty, kind service and fresh mountain air. The restaurant is outstanding and please enjoy some Zima pizza with a glass of red wine. Pura Vida

What I like from this hotel is the nearest from downtown.
