The whole staff at the hotel were excellent. They were very helpful with recommendations and were genuinely concerned, that we have a pleasant experience. The room that we spent our first night in was going to undergo some type of reparation. So the staff offered us a much nicer room with a view of the volcano for no extra charge. I would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again in the future.

Great location. The staff working there is SO nice, and one of the ladies was patient and helped me practice my Spanish. The size of the room was good, however the refrigerator smelled very bad so I did not want to use it, therefore I could not bring takeaway food or leftovers back to my room. The water was only warm, and I had a top level room so I could hear the pigeons above my head moving around all day. I was also woken up when it started raining very hard.

I could not have asked for a better place to post up while exploring La Fortuna. The room was immaculate, the people working at the desk were all very knowledgable (Thanks GiGi and Rocio!!) and while I like practicing mi Espanol, they all spoke English. Very happy with my stay!

As a solo traveller it’s important to me that I have somewhere to sit in the evening with an outlook. The terrace at the front of the hotel is ideal. Somewhere to sit with a beer and watch the world go by. Staff were very helpful and pleasant ensuring my stay was good. You do need earplugs for early morning motorbikes going to work.
