The owner and her family seemed very kind and welcoming. They were very responsive and helped me with suggestions for transportation and things to do in the city. The checkin procedure was very smooth. My taxi driver was a bit confused on locating this place and the owner stepped in and helped. The place looked upgraded and was much better than the pictures posted here. It was well kept and very clean. The A/C was a blessing in disguise given the summer heat. In a hurry to the airport, I left behind my laptop in the apartment, and the owner was very helpful in making sure it was safely returned to me. I highly recommend this apartment and would love to be back someday. Dear Owners, Thank-you very much for a pleasant stay.

A clean,modern apartment, with fully equipped kitchen, and cleaning products to encourage tenants to keep it clean. Located close to supermarkets. Easy walk into old town centre, ferry, bus and train stations: 1.5 to 2 km. Good wifi. Well maintained: everything works! Manager was helpful and considerate.

Worst, we called her in advance, because we were coming late, she said to call her at the time of our arrival, which we did, we were 15 minutes late, she did not answer the phone. We called her 6 times and did not answer the phone. At 11:45 at night, very tired and in a city that we did not know we needed to find another place to stay.

It wasn't bad; but parking was a hassle as the apt is uphill and when other cars are parked, the manager needs to help. Getting extra toilet paper was another hassle, as only one roll was available and we were there for two nights. The owner was helpful in helping us carry our luggage. Locking the apt door was not easy; we did report this problem but was left alone to fix it ourselves,

After spending our first night inside the walls of Diocletian's Palace, we needed to get away from the hoards of tourists. Matic Apartments is a 5 minute walk from the beach and 20 from the city center. It was perfect for us. Ivo and his family, who own and manage the property, are wonderful and very helpful. Our apartment had great air conditioning and wifi. The room was large with a kitchenette and dining table. Access to the patio was provided. Also in our room was beach towels, a beach mat, and extra blankets. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone staying in Split!

Beautiful apartment in a quiet residential neighborhood near the historic core. About a 15 minute walk from the heart of the city with the additional benefit of parking. Checking in was easy and they were friendly and helpful in providing information about the city. We enjoyed our stay.

It's a little dark, a basement flat. Fixtures and fittings fine but not modern. No terrace as such, certainly not a private one. Owners were helpful.

Lovely Apartment very clean and tidy. The apartment owner was very welcoming and also offered airport transfers which saved the hassle of contacting a cab. The apartment had all the basics inc. a fridge and a little hob. It was a studio set up with a bathroom but it suited us for our time in Split. I would definitely recommend.

Our family of four (2 adults and an 18 and 16 year old) stayed at Matic Apartments for three nights. The apartment was clean and comfortable. The owner was pleasant and helpful. It was nice to know they were in the building - although we did not have any problems that warranted contacting them. The apartment is conveniently located for the beach, albeit it a long walk to Old Town.

This place is run by a nice family. Payment is cash only, of which I was not informed and which created a problem for me. The 1-bedroom apartment was basement level - its nice and complete but no light at all. Location isn't great, its quite a hike to the center but if you want to go out to the beaches its not a bad location.

Our hostess was really sweet and accommodating (for example, letting us keep the car in their parking spot for a couple of hours after checking out). The room was large and comfortable. It's on a quiet side street, so not too much noise at night. We liked staying outside of the tourist area but being able to walk to the sights within 15 minutes, and getting a taste of the other parts of Split along the way.
