Residence Umag Plava Laguna

Lovely hotel.. used the restaurants and area very clean.. Mainly out of season so pool closed. Umag is charming but was very quiet on visit.

Very good food selection

The room was comfortable. The place is new. The setup is really stupid considering they had 5 acres to get it right. You pull up to the door and there’s just one awning for one car. This was a mess because it was pouring. It was chaos, confusion, and anger at the door. It was a complete headache and shuffle and there’s no way to ditch the car until you check in. Once you check in, they give you a parking lot access pass to get into an uncovered parking lot a quarter mile away. Then, you walk back on the road to get back to the hotel because no one cared enough to put a damn sidewalk directly back to the front door. So, enjoy your walk in the rain while dodging cars. Once you get in, it’ll take you 20 minutes to unjam the sliding door in the room and if you’re over 40 or have compromised movement, you’re very likely to die getting out of the bathtub/half-ass shower/swimming pool in the bathroom without any grab handles onto a floor that is 100% completely soaked because there’s only a tiny glass divider for the shower. So, if you use the shower, there’s no way to effectively keep the water in the pool. It’s the dumbest design I’ve ever seen in my life and someone is going to die there. It’s an absolute guarantee. There’s no way to get out of the pool tub without sitting on the edge, swiveling, and landing on your feet in all the water that made it out. I’m 49, tall, and fit and had a hell of a time. If someone is short and old, it’s a death sentence. Good food.

Nice hotel for stay near the sea.

I have only good words for the hotel Sol. Top hotel in a beautiful place , in a wonderful environment. Excellent location, very varied and delicious food, polite staff , comfortable , clean and nicely decorated rooms . Overall impression - SUPERB !

Schöne Anlage. Super Strand. Sauberkeit lässt zu wünschen übrig.

Zimmerservice war hervorragend, Personal an der Hotelbar sehr aufmerksam, Frühstück und Abendessen sehr reichhaltig und abwechslungsreich, Service im Speisesaal sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Sämtliches Personal war Deutschsprachig

Gute Lage für längere Spaziergänge.Tennisplätze, Strand, Bars zu Fuß erreichbar. Essen war gut. Leider keine E-Ladestation.

Personal superfreundlich,Speiseauswahl hervorragend.Gute Parkmöglichkeiten,ruhig und doch zentral gelegen.Unbedingt weiterzuempfehlen.Wir kommen wieder!

Very nice resort, great staff

Super hotel med høj standard

Mein Mann und ich waren sehr von der Anlage, den Zimmern und dem stets freundlichen Personal angetan. Das Zimmer wirkte frisch renoviert. Die Möbel rochen noch recht neu. Die Klimaanlage war ein Segen und hat gut funktioniert. Wir waren nur 3 Nächte, also 2 volle Tage dort, wäre aber auch länger geblieben. Das Frühstücksbüffet lies keine Wünsche offen. Unser Fehler war, dass wir keine Halbpension für nur 10 Euro mehr gebucht haben. Nachträglich konnten wir abends dort nur für jeweils 28 Euro pro Person essen. Da sind wir dann lieber herumgefahren und haben uns ein Restaurant gesucht. Eine echte Empfehlung.

Sehr gutes Frühstücks- und Abendbuffett, bei dem sich die ganze Familie immer etwas fand. Eigentlich wollten wir die Restaurants der Gegend testen, hat sich dann nicht ergeben. Zimmer sind ruhig und sauber. Neue Poollandschaft für Kinder genau richtig zum rumtoben. Meer ist nur durch schmalen Weg vom Hotel getrennt. Der Sandstrand fällt flach ab und man kann weit hinausnoch stehen.
