Location,beach,cleanliness- even the swimming pool- were good. Buffet food was excellent - better than a 3 star rated hotel. Hotel interior decor is bland and rather tired looking.....needs a refurbishment. Staff were pleasant and helpful.More beds and parasols needed at pool and annoying customers reserving them early with towels before breakfast should be discouraged.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Accommodation a touch tired. Lovely location. We went end of July beginning of August. Restaurant opens 7 til 9pm. The restaurant was very busy at 7pm and meant it was difficult to find a table especially as the tables were put into groups of 8 or 4. So we decided to go later at 8pm which meant the choice of dessert was less and the food was colder. We decided to eat out for 3 nights because of this. There was another spare room which they only used when the weather was bad. Used all of the time would of stopped this problem.

The Rubin sits amongst three valamar hotels in Porec and it’s a bit like the poor relation. Plastic sunbeds vs fabric ones, tired hotel rooms, and no nice pool areas to enjoy the evenings. You’re free to move between hotels so this wasn’t a massive issue, but it would be nice to have some benefits on site. We paid extra for a sea view and did have a lovely view, but I’ve read reviews that say not all superior rooms are as good. We went half board and the buffet is extensive but after five nights very much the same at breakfast and dinner. There is a beautiful outside terrace and it’s worth getting there before 7 to grab a table. Drinks and food are expensive in all three hotels but we just ordered accordling. If i returned to porec I wouldn’t choose this hotel, I think there better.

room for 1 adult & 2 children was so cramped we had approx 8 inches of space to shuffle sideways between 3rd bed to get to bathroom. Some staff were grumpy, rude and unwelcoming, we were told off for handing in pool towels that were too wet. Cleaning staff were lovely and always had a cheery smile and greeting, kids not allowed balls or inflatables in pool, unless you're German, then you can do as you like. Food was very good but the same every night. Good location close to sea, but I wouldn't stay here again

We stayed full board and the price we paid was a good deal for this hotel. Also had the drinks package which was good value for us. Had an issue with our first room as it smelt strongly of sewage, staff weren't too keen to accommodate us moving room to begin with but we were eventually moved. Very popular with german tourists. Pros; Food fantastic Location Sea Cons; Rooms below average

We realy enjoyed our stay in Rubin. Location of hotel excellent, it was clean and the staff were helpful and friendly. We stayed on half-board which I would not do again as the food in the evening was not good. Selection was limited with pork being on every evening we were there although they did have salmon one evening which was nice. The breakfast was lovely though,they even had a healthy corner which suited me very well as I am a diebetic. I would definitely stay again on bed and breakfast. Mary

Pros- You cannot get much closer to the beach. Tons of activities (Biking, running, skating, sailing, SCUBA, rtc, etc etc.) very well maintained paths, and beach (no sand though, it`s Croatia). Excellent service in the hotel and great food and prices. We were impressed with the professinalism of the staff. It is only a 10 minute scenic walk to Porec. Cons- The hotel is clean with great service, but the rooms are in much need of a remodel. They have big balconies, but old baths and doors that gave me little confidence in the security of the room if someone really wanted in. No in room safes either. 13" TV was cute, but who goes there to watch TV? In room refrigerator would be nice.

Personalet var søde og hjælpsomme. Vi havde halv pension, maden var der nok af, men ikke noget som jeg var imponeret af. Hvis den generelle kvalitet af maden var højere, ville der ikke være så meget madspild. Der var konstant kø ved vand/Juice dispenseren og det samme var tilfældet med kaffe automaten.

Bar, Lobby und das Restaurant waren schön und das Personal war freuntlich. Das Zimmer schlecht. Im Bad Schimmel an der Decke und miefiger Geruch im Zimmer. Trotz allem liegt das Hotel in ruhiger Lage am Meer und in ca. 10 Min zu Fuß von Porec entfernt

Trovo ottima la posizione dell’albergo: poco distante da l centro storico di Parenzo, ricco di localini e di negozi, la piaggia è a pochissimi passi dall’hotel, trovo invece un po’ scomodo al giorno d’oggi non avere il Wi-Fi in camera ma solamente nelle zone in comune
