Nice hotel well maintained. Drinks at pool expensive

The room was dated and in need of an overhaul No tea or coffee facility . Apparently only junior suits have this . I was told i could buy coffee at the bar . The food in the dinning room was average , not a great deal of choice . Coffee machines were slow . You had to hunt for spoons to eat with as they did not set them out on the table . Eating out was preferable . I got rid of two small cockroaches in the bathroom . There was no complimentary water in the rooms despite there being a fridge . It was unusually hot .

Staffs are very nice, close to the beach and walkable distance ro the city

The lobby and restaurant are completely renovated and very attractive, but the rooms are a remnant from the nineties, design wise (especially the bathroom), albeit comfortable. The food in the restaurant (we had half-board) is very average and the pungent smells from cooking food was overpowering. Don't expect to swim in the indoor pool, since it's just an oversized kids' puddle - not small, but so shallow that one wonders what the point is.

The two bathrooms were a very good addition to the junior suit. The A/C unit should blow the air in a different direction. The cold air was blowing directly on the bed. This was the only unpleasant thing about the property

Porec is nice town

Great all round hotel. 20mins from Porec and good base for Istria. Some marks on the walls but everything worked well. Lack of robes and slippers in room was slight down but otherwise excellent and well priced for Feb

Excellent place for people seeking an active holiday. Brilliant gym, sports facilities, enthusiastic animation team, helpful concierge and wide choice of büfé style half board. However, our holiday was spoiler by not adequate communication between Hotels.com , Valamar Reservation and reception. The issue of being charged twice by Valamar Reservation which is not recorded in their system is still to be resolved. Shame, as this problem really overshadowed our otherwise nice and precious family holiday.

Had a lovely week in Hotel Valamar Diamant. Excellent food with a lot to choose from. Clean rooms and nice and friendly staff.

The hotel has a pool, a large hall for breakfast and dinner, parking in the open but is save.The staff is friendly,again would have stayed.I have no complaints.20 min walk you reach the old town.the bathroom could still be a shower gel and balsam hire.For breakfast and dinner has a large selection of savory and sweet meat. Price corresponds to the level of the hotel.The rooms have a balcony and a beautiful view of the sea.

The area wasn't real convenient for us but we should have done more investigating so it is partially our fault. Weather wasn't great but we rented bikes anyway. Rode local bus into Pula.

Comfortable enough room. Efficient Staff. Arrived late and had late night cold snack for us which was very much appreciated. Free Wifi. Plenty of loungers at the pool and at the beach. Hotel is in huge complex with 3 other Valamar hotels. Good sized breakfast, dinner was fine, nothing special. Plenty of restaurants in Porec. 10 minutes from Porec via shorter route, 15-20 minutes if you take the path along the sea. Organised activities everyday in hotel if you wish to participate. Live music most nights of the week in one of the hotel bars.

Hotel was nice and clean, however the balcony sea view we had was not really the view one would expect for the additional cost per night. The breakfast and dinner selection was also quite small with little to no change from day to day. Drinks were well priced. We enjoyed the BBQ that the hotel set up (Wednesday night). The location of the hotel was pretty close to Porec center, nice place to pending an evening.

Overall, good experience, but extremely disappointed with the hotel room (not even close to the description of an Expedia 4star rating). Bathroom very small, water dripping from the toilet all night. Window blinds do not cover the light and it was quite unpleasant in the morning and the beds were very uncomfortable. I've never experienced tape over the mini-bar (that was a first). Otherwise, the staff were extremely helpful. I have to send kudos to Veronika, our waitress during dinner. No one else saw us (not even the manager on duty), but she noticed that we had not been served (and it wasn't even her waiting area). Wellness center was ok, just the dead cockroach on the floor was a bit bothersome.

my friend and I had a wonderful time at the hotel Diamant, the staff were fantastic, so helpful, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Marjey the head of the dining room looked after us and was always smiling and helpful. Danjel in the lounge bar made us both laugh and was a real character. the room was on the second floor overlooking the park, and although there wasnt much of a view it didnt matter. the room was clean and fresh and very quiet. In the evening there is a short 10-15min walk to Porec or there was some great family entertainment at the hotel next door, we had a great Abba tribute night! lovely grounds, wonderful food, we will definitely go back again. thank you to all the great staff.

We never go back to Countries we have visited before because we always think there is so much of the world to be explored, but we really loved Croatia and possibly would come back and if we did this would be the hotel we would stay at. Your roughly about 30 minutes from the airport and the taxi will cost around £50 each way. On arrival at the hotel it is big and a sister hotel to Ruby and Crystal... it has everything you could possibly want. Kids club, bikes for hire, gym, sports facilities, wellness centre, indoor and out door pools... the list in endless, look on their website and it will tell you. There is a lot going on down by the sea front, mini golf, jet ski hire, tennis.. the list is endless and for all ages. You really wont be disappointed. The rooms are basic but what else do you need, the beds were really comfortable and the pillows were too..(sometimes you want to get home to your own bed, but these were lovely) and air conditioned. The food is very good, we stayed half board and there was something always being cooked fresh,hot croissants in the morning, the pizza is lovely and there was always a joint of meat being cooked as well as fresh pasta... it really catered for everyone. The pool area food is lovely too and prices were very reasonable... There are gardens which lead down to the sea and more sun beds if you want a quieter area.
