Asterias Beach Hotel

The beach there is amazing. The breakfast is great. If you are not all inclusive, be prepared to pay extraordinary prices at the bar and restaurant. Also, they charge the beds on the beach separately and you dont even have a discount as a hotel guest.

Excellent hotel, excellent customer service from staff, fantastic food, prime location on a stunning beach. We have returned to Asterias Beach for the third time, we are never disappointed, this has always been our favourite in Cyprus and never fails to disappoint. We will definitely be back again, thank you for having us!

Well maintained property with new furniture and nice looking around. Near the marina, restaurants and attractions. The road to the city center is close to so easy to catch the bus. Great staff. They should improve: 1. replacing cups, water and toiletries in the room more often. 2. To offer extra gastronomic restaurant and menu different than the buffet (despite the food is delicious). 5/5 experience.

Stingiest hotel, I have ever stayed. I guess I paid much more than what it worth, I dont know it was hotels problem or expedias being missinformative, but this hotel should be downgraded for 3 starts for the service they provide, you have to pay for everything let me explain: 1. You have to pay for safe box! (2 euros per night). 2. Water provided only upon arrival? How they claim that they care for the health of customers and they even not keeping them hydrated in a beach hotel where everyone exposed to sun all the day! 3. No mini bar ! 4. No Tissue Box provided! 5. No coffee /tea and hot water kattel provided! And when I 1st expressed my disappointment to the hotel, they told me refer to the agent you've booked from, they supposedly to inform you, instead of making up for the customer in any way possible! So disappointing!!! This is not to mention that my room was the last room on the floor ! It wasn't the stay I was expecting for after my 2 years of waiting for vacation due to pandemic. Location wise, it was far 10 minutes by car from the centeral €10 for each way by taxi. The only beautiful thig was the beach, Makronissos beach is the most beautiful beach I have seen, I really enjoyed the beach.

The worst experience: charging me EUR 2/day for usage of a built in safe in the room, while charging me EUR 189/day b/b at check-in. At check-in, I was sent to a disappointing room. When I asked for a better one, I was told by the receptionist that "all the rooms in the hotel are the same" and I was sent to another, the same type room, which I rejected. Only then, I was told by the MOD that tomorrow I would be transferred to a better room (so, there was a better room!?). I was transferred tomorrow to a better room where I spent remaining 4 nights out of my 5-night stay at this hotel.

+ great hotel, pool and beach - nothing really to do around it

I will start with the positive, the reception staff. Ludmila is a gem of this hotel- always friendly yet highly professional and looking after all my needs. I can be a demanding guest sometimes but Ludmila was so pleasant and always found a solution for everything I needed. The second best thing was the spa-one of the best facials I had from Chrysa, 75 minutes of pure enjoyment. She is an angel. And Valeria was amazing in looking after me every day at the gym and the spa. The gym was great for a hotel gym and met my needs in terms of equipment and there is a huge indoor swimming pool just next to it, where I would end my sessions in the mornings. So quiet and peaceful-pure bliss. The beach is also beautiful and I loved it. One thing I wasn’t happy about was the breakfast-it did contain choices but it offered same food every day. Another thing I expected more for the price I paid was the room itself. It was a decent size but not comfortable bed- the most important thing for a hotel, if you ask me. I was also disappointed to find that there were no tea and coffee facilities in the room, no bathrobes etc. When I upgraded to a swim up room I was even more surprised to find the room itself was actually a bit older and even less comfortable than the room I had initially. The outdoor area was excellent and I loved having the private pool with loungers and jacuzzi just a step out of my room, but the bathroom the bed, etc. not to a high enough standard.

Nice beach. They had changed the channels line up which I didn't like and the Mexican food was not good. Nice bed and decor. Overall good.
