Bed and breakfast Tistrup is a great place to stay in for families visiting Legoland and Billund in Denmark. The distance to Legoland is less than an hour by car. The rooms have a small kitchen but also a shared full kitchen in the dining room with all facilities, where there are lots of toys for kids to play with and even a some training equipment . The farm it self has horses and other animals. The rooms are very nice and clean with very nice bathrooms. The breakfast buffet was also very nice. The area is very quiet and safe with no other passing traffic than the traffic to the farm itself.

Our family stayed there for two nights because we went to Legoland. The owners were very helpful and friendly. The cottage was very clean and quiet. We especially liked the communal kitchen. Every time we used it we had it to ourselves.

This is not a B and B..There was NO breakfast...and the "hotel" is next to a pig farm and smells terribly. There are flys everywhere, and I spent 30min killing flys in the room. That said- the room was inexpensive--so you get what you pay for. The room was not dirty--but It was not really clean. There were stains on the walls, draperies and on bedding. The towels are thin, well used and minimally absorbent. The pillows were equally flat and should be replaced. I would not walk without shoes in the room due to cleanliness. Overall I would NOT stay here again due to the pig farm smell, the flys and overall cleanliness. That said, it was quiet.

We stayed here while visiting Legoland. The location is a bit out of the way and wouldn't recommend for a Legoland visit. It was great to see the horses and the swing outside was nice for our kids. However, the sofa-bed was very uncomfortable for us. This would be a good place to stay for getting away from the city and enjoying the rural life in Denmark.

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable with an ensuite bathroom, TV, a mini kitchen, air con/heating and a table and chairs. The door opened onto a field with horses grazing and a wonderful view. The B&B does a great breakfast buffet and has a communal kitchen, lounge and BBQ area if you want to use it. There is small amount of fitness equipment too. The local town centre is a short/5 minute drive away so you can cook your own food if you wish I would definitely stay there again! Owner is incredibly hospitable and considerate, making us feel welcome immediately.

Clean rooms and friendly reception, but the room was a bit smaller than I had expected for a family room (4 people) and the fold-out sofa bed was not especially comfortable. It was a good economical place to stay, among nice pastoral surroundings, but I was glad enough to move on the next day.

Very out the way with a charming atmosphier. The staff are very helpfull and do not pester you. The only problem is that they do not take cards, cash only, however there is a bank just in the town with a atm, so its not a problem. Check out is easy, just leave the money on the table, and away you go ! I have much work in Tistrup, so will be staying again.

I utgangspunktet et hyggelig sted med idylliske omgivelser. Dessverre var det skittent og dårlig vedlikeholdt, og det fremstod ikke som at de ansatte hadde noen plan om hverken å vaske, vedlikeholde eller å gjøre det til noe mer enn en fungerende seng å sove i. For det første var det ikke frokost tilgjengelig - på et sted som kaller seg bed and breakfast. Vi ble fortalt at det var kjøkken tilgjengelig - det var det riktignok, men ubrukelig, da det var så skittent at man ikke ønsket å ta på noe som helst, og enda mindre plassere maten sin i stekepanner, klissete skjærefjøler eller tallerkner med spindelvev. De reklamerer med en grill på stedet - den var det ikke gass til, men vi fikk beskjed om at vi kunne gå på butikken og kjøpe gass selv.. Rommene var åpenbart overflatevasket, men ikke noe mer enn det. Det var både døde og levende insekter her og der, og rester på veggene etter drepte insekter. Det virket imidlertid som at de fleste gjestene kun sov der på gjennomreise, og ikke hadde behov for kjøkken. Prisen var også veldig lav, slik at man ikke kan forvente all verden. Det tatt i betraktning er det et fungerende sted, men ikke noe mer enn akkurat det.

Okej för att sova en natt. Sängarna var okej och det var tyst. Utomhusbilderna stämde inte överens med verkligheten. Lekplatsen var i dåligt skick och igenväxt. Frukost ingick ej. Värden var duktig på engelska.

Ser ikke ut som på bildene i det heletatt. Gjenngrodd og ustelt rundt byggningen. Det var skittent på gulv, vegger og gardinene. Spesielt veggene var veldig skittne med noe gørr som hang rundt. Manglet dusjforheng på dusjen. Det kalles bed & breakfast, men da jeg spurte om det var mulig å kjøpe/bestille frokost, fikk jeg til svar at de ikke hadde frokost. Merke. Sengtøyet og håndklærne luktet surt og gammelt. Eneste som var positiv var at det var aircondition på rommet som en kunne styre selv. Men utenom det så var det ikke mye positiv og ikke en plass vi skal reise til igjen ihvertfall.
