It was a pleasure to stay here. One of the most comfortable beds I've slept in. Service is as expected wonderful. A lot of old grumpy tourist that liked to conplain, but the waiters/hotel staff handled it all with a smile.

From the check in we were extremely pleased with the service & information we received. Britt, who checked us in gave us informative local knowledge and her obvious pleasure at being able to share stories of the area was very refreshing. The other reception staff also gave us great service. The location was easy to find and well situated to enable us to enjoy Skagen. The restuarant service was also of a high standard, our waitperson was most obliging and our meal was a treat. The breakfast was also very satisfying with a wide variety of choices. Our room was quiet, easily accessible with parking nearby. The bed was also very comfortable. Overall a very pleasant experience. Thanks to all the staff!

Rented one of the apartments … pretty nice, but basic in design and lacking usual kitchen amenities (microwave, kitchen towels, wash cloths, salt & pepper, etc.) found in other apartment properties. If not provided it may be helpful to provide a list of items needed to bring.

Great location in the "middle" of the Skagen area. Mostly one-story buildings. Unusual for a 4-star hotel to not have air-condition or even ceiling fans, which was a problem with the hot summer nights and sleep quality. The rooms are quite rudimentary.

Both a hotel and apart-hotel complex. Ample parking, onsite pools, jacuzzi, saunas, games room etc. Perfect for children keeping them busy. Located a short bike ride or car journey to Skagen centre. We were out most of the time enjoying what skagen has to offer, that said beds were relatively comfortable, but it was warm at night in with No AC. Restaurant had a good selection of food available. All in all a pleasant experience.

The room had no AC, and even with all windows open we had issues getting the room to an OK temperature. The room also gets extremely cramped when deploying the fold-out bed, had to move half of the furniture, a bit impractical.

Loved everything about it, just a bit crowded and no parking spaces near room. Everything else was amazing!! Ppl everywhere so nice to help and make everything good for us, and so glad that everything and everybody spoke english, makes it way better! So glad we chose this hotel for our honeymoon weekend!

I was traveling with my daughter and grandchildren, We had an apartment style room which was very comfortable. There was a lot to do and the scenery was breathtaking along the coast. The children love running on the paths on the dunes. The only issue really was the rain, which we had a little of everyday, but that was not the Hotel's fault nor could they have changed it.

Overall I had a really good stay at Color Hotel, but for a 4 stars hotel, a few things could have been better: I had booked a family room, and I had to make the kids bed on my own on arrival, thus seeing that the bottom protective sheet was not of pristine condition. The next day we visited the indoor playground (small and dark) and the outdoor playground (not in good shape at all, to the point of falling apart). On top of this we had to pay extra to use the derelict mini golf. I think this is a pretty cheap move to make the hotel's guest pay for that. Or else make it a very nice mini golf! The same can be said for the entertainment room, not twice as nice as the lobby or the restaurant area. A little bit of improvement would go a long way in making these areas more cosy.

The hotel is on the bike trail, but too far from the center of town to walk with young children. There was a wonderful breakfast included in the price that had something for everyone. The family room was large with enough space for 2 children's beds and 2 chairs.
