Hotel Hedegaarden

Good value for money, free parking perfect if you have a car. Very close to city centre (7’ driving). Breakfast is rather basic, could be better. Comfy basic rooms, very quiet, super fast internet.

Good points: Parking, cleanliness, cleaning staff and staff at reception. Bad points: Awful breakfast, mainly due to the kitchen staff and their indifferent behaviour. Instead of cleaning tables, they told us to go to a conference room for breakfast that had chairs and bare tables with no table cloth! Basic things like pancakes, fruit and bread ran out every day at 08:45 while the closing time is 09:30. They were not topped up even upon request. Beware of very poor choice for Vegetarians (no beans, hash browns etc.) There is not even a toaster in the restaurant and there is also no kettle in the rooms (majority of guests were Brits). The rooms are quite compact if you have 4 beds. Also double check the amount before you pay, the hotel added 200 DKK to our invoice for checking in 10 minutes earlier than scheduled time.

Pros: Clean hotel with nice and spacious room, good WiFi, spacious and free car parking. Continental breakfast. Cons: Everything was clean. But the corners of the shower wall wasn't clean.

Practical by the highway. Ok rooms. Had a good night sleep here while driving through Denmark. Nice breakfast.

Excellent restaurant! Really nice staff who helped us with our bikes and were so courteous. Great breakfast too.

It was late and I just needed a bed for the night. OK for that only. Rooms hard to find and not much help from reception. Industrial/office style and slightly worn rooms. Breakfast poor.

Pretty average place, but excellent breakfast!

Nice breakfast. Nice room. Wish they’d told me how to open the “window” above the door, because we didn’t find the controls until the day after and had a really stuffed hot night...

The Hotel was a Motel type of arrangement, parking was ample the beds were very comfortable and it was quiet. It seemed to be in the middle of nowhere but was very nice

Unfortunately I had people in the next room who took it upon themselves to have a party (a Wednesday night!) starting at 2am until they left for work at 6.30. There is no night security or reception and they were hostile almost to the point of assault. My last visit no matter how convenient it is for working on the area! Very unpleasant. Oh, btw, if you are later than 7.45 for breakfast you will find there is very little left in terms of choice..

Okay if you are desperate for a one night stay. The staff were unfriendly and the rooms were very minimal.

Sleepinh Comfort perfekt - had a non smoking room but still smell of smoke

Definite value for money. Great customer service from staff, nothing was too much. Room was clean and the bed was very comfy. We missed having a kettle in the room and the shower could have been a tad warmer.

This is a clean, functional, and good hotel at Vejle. A bit far from downtown, but internet and parking are free.

Nice hotel but pillows need to be much better for a comfortable sleep

Comfortable motel type stay. Menu was delicious, but limited in options. If you stop more than a ferry days, you'd want to look for restaurants and that would require a car
