Hotel Loeven

We didn't get the room we expected from the photos. Receptionist never got back to us with a solution as she promised. The decor was shabby and there was damage on walls. Too bad in such a great space. It felt more like a hostel than a hotel. We made the best of it and had a good stay. Location is close to the city center, a parking house, and good restaurants which was what we wanted, but this convenience came with very loud city noise due to its central location.

Its a great starting point for a city break. The room was clean, the kitchen needs a quick refresh, but is ok to prepare your morning coffee or tea. The shower in our room was not really useful, but they provided clean towels daily. It was a great value in Copenhagen Center. I would recommend for short term visits, got the perfect location for a city break.

The hotel is on a major street and a prime spot for walking around. Great value for money. Bed a little stiff, and I could see the single bathroom on the floor being an issue for some. Staff weren’t hostile but not entirely welcoming either, which is also fine. Basically it’s a cheap hotel and you get what you pay for, so just be sure you’re paying for something you want.

Knowing it’s was over/next to a nightclub would have been good information to know. The noise was UNBELIEVABLE!!! People screaming, fighting, engines reving, but the worst was the massive amounts of fire crackers being lit. By the time I was finally able to get to sleep it was nearly time to get up.

Near the main train station and the Tivoli. Shower was small.

We were very disappointed in Hotel Loeven. First, it is situated right over a nightclub, so there is noise all night long. Second, their site does not mention that there are rooms without an en-suite bathroom, which we were given. Third, there is no TV and the rooms are extremely plain. Fourth, when I paid the bill, they charged me an extra 15% because they don’t accept credit cards that are issued out of the EU. Yes, this hotel is in a good location and it is clean.

Very basic room but in centre of city near Tivoli. Guest kitchen was a bonus. On main road so quite noisy. Staff pleasant and helpful.

It was reasonable hotel but not for people with kids on a stroller like me.

Good location to explore Copenhagen either by foot or bike. A budget option but was clean and the shared kitchen was useful for free tea and coffee and somewhere to sit and have a snack.

I booked a single room with private bathroom. Small but very clean. Wasn’t on street side so it was very quiet. Very comfortable bed. I slept very well.

Near to city

Decent hotel, very near to central station and easy access by public transport. Very conveniently located, lot of good places to eat around, some attractions are also close by..(City itself can be covered by foot), bit of shopping can also be found. Bit more on the price for the basic facilities offered, atleast toiletries can be provided(found only handwash in bathroom), wifi was very bad during our stay, rooms are not sound proof(you can hear every single person walking on the stairs if you are in 1st floor, can't say about other rooms...otherwise rest is good, friendly staff, self catering kitchen with free Tea & Coffee. I would definitely recommend this place, if you don't mind spending a bit, actually that compensates what you spend on transport and saves time for travel too.
