Jungshoved Præstegård

I usually do not post reviews at Expedia but I think it is important to warn about the experience, I recently had at Jungshoved Præstegård. When I arrived, I was told by the person, who checked me in that the room I had booked, the Classic room, only had a shared bathroom a fact I had not noticed at the reservation. When she, a young woman from Ukraine, saw my reaction, she was kind enough to offer me a room with a bathroom, because, as she said, you are the only guest anyway. I was of course happy with the solution and enjoyed my stay so much that I decided to extend for another night. Later, I met the owner of the place, who appeared very forthcoming and nice until she at checkout in a very unpleasant way informed me, that the room I had occupied was much more expensive than the one I had paid for and on a very businesslike way presented me with an extra charge of 3000 kroner. The amount included 3 breakfasts but still, an outrageous amount, in particular since I was not informed that the change of room would be charged on top of what I already had paid. When I tried to challenge the amount, she became very agitated and consequently I decided to pay and put the entire thing on my very short list of unfortunate travel experiences. To add to the bad attitude, I was denied a late check out, even though the place was empty and no one else needed the room.

We chose this hotel mostly because it had a lovely high rating, but think it maybe has since changed ownership? Weird tchotchkes all over the place, manager's / owner's (?) kids screaming in the kitchen... all a little hokey, without the charm you might have expected from the photos. We were charged extra for the breakfast btw which at 300DKK for 2 was shockingly bad. A few bits of supermarket cold cuts, some windfall apples and awful ginger(?) coffee so bad I couldn't drink it. Pretty location on the water, button't keep the high ratings for long if this is the best they can do. Certainly wouldn't recommend at the price.

Amazing experience in this slice of heaven of a b&b. Super-friendly staff, very peaceful, excellent breakfast, large clean rooms, all surrounded by peaceful nature and sea.

They have a charger for electrical cars, which we used for a fee. It worked very well.

Our stay was, regrettably, short and so we could not take advantage of all on offer. However the proprietor was very accommodating, and the room was beautiful and comfortable.

We received a lovely, warm welcome. We were shown around and given a lot of information to help with a day trip to Copenhagen. What a great family! They couldn’t do enough for us during our stay. The house is lovely and the setting is stunning. Our room was very comfortable and cosy, with a view over the sea. It is so peaceful and we slept really well. The breakfast buffet had a large selection of meats, cheeses, fruit, bread, hot items etc. You won’t go away hungry. We loved staying here.

It is a beautiful old building set in a lovely garden, the hosts are very friendly.

We had an amazing stay! Everything was clean and comfortable and the people were lovely. We didn't have time for breakfast but got to have a nice cup of coffee before leaving. I would definitely go back again!

Mysigt boende, trevligt värdpar och bra frukost som dock fick köpas till. Dock blev vi förvånade då rummet visade sig ha delat badrum/toalett trots att det stod att detta skulle finnas på rummet. När vi kom var papperskorgen på rummet inte tömd och fullt med dammråttor under sängen vilket drog ner på betyget för ett boende som annars skulle fått högsta betyg.

Vi havde en enkelt overnatning på Jungshoved Præstegård. Virkelig et skønt sted - her ånder fred og ro - meget idyllisk!! Fantastisk værtspar, som sørger for at alt fungerer og intet er overladt til tilfældighederne. Den skønneste morgenmad. Vi kommer igen !!

Grymt trevligt par som drev prästgården. Riktigt go frukost. Fantastiskt trevligt runt gården.

Fint välkomnande och väldigt trevligt värdpar

Wir hatten einen wirklich tollen Aufenthalt in Jungshoved. Filip und Anette sind wirklich großartige Gastgeber. Im Haus steckt viel Liebe und das merkt man. Man fühlt sich wie zu Besuch bei Freunden. Das Hotel hat einen direkten Zugang zum See, und zum Abendessen konnten wir im Gästeraum sitzen und Geschirr und Besteck benutzen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Min kæreste og jeg havde fornøjelsen af at tilbringe et par dage på dette vidunderlige bed and breakfast – og det var en oplevelse ud over det sædvanlige. Stedet er utroligt smukt, roligt og indbydende, med masser af charme og sans for detaljer. Man føler sig velkommen fra det øjeblik, man træder ind ad døren. Værterne var helt igennem søde, imødekommende og behagelige – man kunne mærke, at de virkelig brænder for at skabe en god oplevelse for deres gæster. Der var en afslappet og hjemlig atmosfære, som gjorde det nemt at koble helt fra og nyde opholdet i fulde drag. Vi glæder os allerede til at komme tilbage!

Skønt sted!

Et superophold på Jungshoved Præstegård. Værtsparret får absolut topkarakter på deres væremåde og behandling af gæster. Det findes ikke bedre.
