Quality Hotel The Reef

By far, this was the best hotel experience I’ve ever had. The room was beautiful, staff were exceptionally friendly, and the water park was beyond my expectations. Everything about the hotel was beautiful, and so full of details. 10/10

Fantastiske faciliteter når man har et barn, der elsker at boltre sig i vand! Meget gennemført badeland! Fint og rummeligt værelse samt badeværelse- hårtørrer dog med svagt blæs og kort, snoet ledning og en knap, der skal holdes inde under hele tørringen. Hyggelig morgenmadsrestaurant. Som veganer ikke det store udvalg men jeg vil tro, de fleste vil være tilfredse. Super beliggenhed. Kan alt i alt absolut anbefale!

Lækker værelse, fint hotel, lækker badeland, meget lækker morgenmad.

Refurbishing is nice, but there are a lot of kids there, I love them, but for a business trip this can be disturbing.

Toppen

Det var et dejligt sted. Rent, lækkert og vi kom en enda en dag tidliger og personalet var så søde at hjælpe os så vi kunne få samme værelse en dag mere. Lækker morgenmads buffet med alt der hører til. Fantastisk badeland med mange fede små oaser og en lækker bar/ frokost sted. Hel klart en sted vi kommer igen.

Badelandet er rigtig god. Morgenmad er også rigtig lækker. Sengene på værelset er for bløde at sove i. Klapsengen er for smal. Min mindste søn faldt ud af den om natten. Vi bad om et værelse til stille side i kommentarer til booking. Men vi fik et værelse med vinduet til vejen og der var masse larm om natten fra fulde mennesker. Ventilation på værelserne er ikke særlig god. Da vi åbnede vinduet om natten, var det svært at sove på grund af larm fra gaden.

God atmosfære

The hotel is very convenient because it’s only a short walk from the ferry terminal. If you’re arriving from Gothenburg, you basically step off the boat and you’re almost there. The design is another strong point—the lobby and the restaurant look stylish and well thought-out, and the overall atmosphere is colorful and pleasant. The staff were very friendly and nice. However, there are a few things to keep in mind, especially for couples. The hotel attracts a lot of families with children, and the pool area is almost always full of kids. It gets loud, busy, and a bit chaotic, which makes it hard to enjoy the pool area. There’s no adults-only section or quieter space for those who prefer a more relaxing environment, so the noise is unavoidable. Our room was on one of the top floors, and although the slanted roof made it look charming, we couldn’t open the window. Without fresh air, the room felt stuffy, and after a while it became uncomfortable. I would have preferred a lower floor with windows that actually open. Cleanliness was another issue. The toilet bowl had a noticeable yellow tint, the kind that comes from older stains that haven’t been fully removed and would require stronger cleaning agents. Breakfast was supposed to be available until ten, but they started clearing everything away 20 minutes early. Since we had the last time slot, we barely had time to eat before the food disappeared. If breakfast is advertised until ten, it really should stay out until ten.

Rigtig godt og hyggeligt ophold. Rigtig godt værelse med god størrelse. Større end jeg troede. Badelandet var hyggeligt og sjovt nok, men selvfølgelig meget børnevenlig. Flot og nyrenoveret bygning. Rigtig sød og hjælpsom personale.

Rummen var bra

God morgenmad. Ben adgang fra værelset til pool.

Quite impressive across all areas. Clean and nice rooms, friendly staff. Indoor swimming area is really good and clean. The restaurant is a tad expensive, but the breakfast buffet was included in the room and is great.
