Scandic Regina

Vi havde en oplevelse det første morgen - min kone skulle skynde sig og spiste minimalt - da hun skulle blive hentet. Det der gjorde oplevelsen rædselsfuldt var at da hun skulle gå tog hun et par frugter, jeg stod ved siden af hende og var ved at pakke glutenfri brød ud. Pludselig kunne vi høre høj stemme alle kunne høre "undskyld!" tre gange - Vi vidste ikke at man ikke må tage et par frugter her. Jeg måtte forklare damen at hun fremstillede min kone som en tyv med sit optræden. Jeg forklarede også at vi i vores gode hoteller altid får mulighed for at tage frugter (Clarion Kastrup lufthavn) og det var derfor min kone tog et par frugter. Ikke nok med det damen påstod at min kone også tog brød, det gjorde hun ikke; det var mig der skulle riste noget brød ved siden af hende. Håber virkelig ikke vi eller andre kommer til at opleve lignende hændelser i fremtiden. Jeg konfronterede hende situationen bagefter men ingen undskyldning kun en lang forklaring på de oplever at folk tager mad efter morgenmaden - men det gjorde min kone ikke - men det troede hun ikke på og blev bare ved med at forklare sig med noget vi ikke kan bruge.

The hotel was fine for our short stay. It's a basic, no-frills hotel, but it was clean and met our needs. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The room was a bit warm (no ac), and I was surprised that no hand towels or washcloths were provided. Overall, it was a good option for one night, just don't expect many extras.

Somewhat run-down hotel with no A/C to cool your room, so only solution is to open the windows - which isn’t the most appealing option when the hotel is right next to a train- / bus station. Good restaurant with excellent waiters.

Clean, bathroom a little outdated but overall fine. Staff were lovely, breakfast is really good. But the pillows in the room are terrible, so hard to sleep on. They are so lumpy (so either cheap or old...or both) and tiny. Probably wouldn't stay again because of the pillows.

Staff were pretty brusk and a bit short with us at the front desk. Refused to let us check in til - exactly - 4pm even though they let others check in prior no questions asked. Room was so warm so it was difficult to sleep, even with all the windows open and the thermostat on 0. Probably would stay at the Best Western next time, the room is smaller but much better experience.

Great hotel if you are traveling to Herning for football. Next to train station and a 5 minute walk into town for pubs and restaurants.

Roasting hot, no aircon or fan, beds are so thin and uncomfortable, food awful

Everything was good, I wish they had a mini fridge in the room for the price. Almost 200 euro but no mini fridge. Quite disappointed with that. Other than that everything else was good.

We had a nice stay in Herning.

I ordered (and paid) for a twin room. I got a room with a double bed where an extra bed was put in. That is not okay.

As far as Scandic Hotels go this one is very good. Fairly modern and very clean. Easy parking and easy check in/out. The breakfast was nothing to write home about though.

Everything was good. Except parking issues If you are going with electric car just don’t trust you will get space to charge your car. Also if someone have park their car in electric charging spot they will not be asked by hotel to move there car even if it’s fully charged or not in use.

Awesome staff. Couldn’t make collect call from room phone so staff let me use one of their phones, so critically helpful.

A great hotel, staff were amazing, nothing was a problem, friendly and professional, room was spacious and comfortable.

The location of the property is very ideal - overall a comfortable hotel. I did not like much the art work on walls

The rooms are interesting. Nice breakfast in the mornings and the games room is nice when you come in a group.
