Paradisus Grand Cana - All Suites - All Inclusive

Great!

The property is beautiful. The suites are very spacious with a spacious balcony. Franklin was amazing with arrangements regarding activities, reservations, transportation, etc. The staff at the resort is amazing and very polite and friendly. They even knew our names during our stay. Excellent recommendation.

June 7th to June 14th 2025- 7 nights-Family of four with two daughters, graduate school age, so our first priority in picking a resort was spacious accommodations. Paradisus Grand Cana delivered on that priority. We booked a two-bedroom, two bath, family concierge, Master swim-up suite. Nearly 3,000 square feet. Gorgeous resort. In brand-new like condition. Pristine. The landscape is exquisitely manicured. Massive center pool, inner and outer rings swim-up pools, and a waterpark at close proximity. The result is that the place never felt overcrowded. The resort in not on the beach, but it was never a show-stopper for us. A fleet of golf carts transport guests to and from the beach. One needs to carry only themselves, and perhaps some sunscreen. Beach chairs, towels, restaurant, etc...await your arrival at the beach. I walked to the beach. About 13 to 15 minutes. You see, I've got to get my daily steps in. My iWatch insists upon it. There are several restaurants here. Our concierge, Thaina Decire, booked our diners and concierge inclusive excursions. We tried Karnica, Tori, Machu, and Rubi Rocks with mixed family reviews. We achieved a consensus with Origen and ended up sticking with it for Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. Origen is a spectacular buffet restaurant. There is something delicious to eat at Origen even for those with the most discerning palates. Superior service here. The family concierge is worth the dollar stretch. Thaina is an exceptional concierge.

Food was terrible, we got food poisoning

Our family of 10 opted for the family concierge and our group was assigned to Onil. Onil was great! He was always energetic and quick to respond on WhatsApp. Water park was great for my kids aged 10 and 12. Beach was surprisingly pretty clean! Some seaweed but wasn’t enough to bother us. The resort does a good job keeping the seaweed sealed off with their barrier. Mosquitoes were definitely present while we were there the 1st week of June. So make sure to bring some repellent! I only had one bite but others in my group weren’t so lucky. My only complaints are the food and a few employees. There were some employees who weren’t so friendly. It felt like they hated our presence until we handed them a tip. And the food at the buffet was kind of a disappointment. It was very repetitive and served luke warm. The steakhouse and Asian restaurant was good though so it made up for the buffet. Overall it was a great trip but I think I would try another resort next time.

No valet parking, told erroneous information about dinner reservations. When asked for lobster dinner price given was $300, we above market price

Writing this on our last day at breakfast before we head to the airport. We traveled here with my family of 5. My kids are 12,10, 6. They absolutely loved it here. Something for every age. The facility was beautiful. Our room was clean. The service staff left little gifts for my children. Everything about the service was so so good. The pools and water were so clean and kept all of my kids very entertained. They would bring out bounce houses ON the pool, paddle boards. So many cool things. The restaurants: we ate at them all. My overview is the Grand grill, Alula, Karnica and the hibachi were by far the best. I wouldn’t mess with the others. We ended up eating at the buffet after every other restaurant just because we were still hungry. They all were very accommodating to my gluten allergy. At the buffet I’d highly recommend the daily grilled meats. The steak and the chicken were what I ended up eating pretty much everyday. They were perfect. Snorkling right off of the hotel was okay. The only real day it was possible (bc of the waves and poor visibility) was our last but I did end up seeing a lion fish, angel fish and a sea turtle. Definitely an highlight of the trip. We felt perfectly safe, even off site, the whole visit to the DR. Our concierge texted us pictures of the daily activities and would answer any and every question any time of day. We would just send him a text and he’d take care of everything. Overall, it was a wonderful visit and would definitely recomm

Perfect spot for families. So much to do! Safe. Extremely clean. Awesome staff. Delicious food with tons of options. So many amenities! 100/10!!

Had an amazing time with excellent service and great people

This Place is Wonderful. Honestly the service was impeccable from check in to check out ! Family friendly resort with endless things to do. We did a clear boat tour and did snorkeling as well as saw dolphins! The beach is wonderful as well. The water park for kids is a plus. All dine in places had amazing dishes and cannot complain about anything. The grounds are kept very clean and you will never see anything dirty!! Family concierge upgrade is a MUST! The swim up suite was delightful and rooms are amazing! I could go on and on about this place. I will be returning

I honestly had the worst experienced in this place, i was verbally attacked and insulted by one of the employees at the beach who call me a prostitud and trated me very bad just because i was smoking in the bech aways from everyone. He saw me and he was attacking me with a lot of insulting verbally words to me a my friends. I have a family a have kids and a husbad. What the hell this guy was calling me a prostitud. I was very sad angry and disappointing. After I spoke with the manager in charge , they did do anything at all. They dont even have cameras in the bech. I dont recommend this place at all. All the satfd is not well trained to treat their guest with kindness and respect. Very unhappy of being waisting my money and also my time in this place.

We just returned from Paradisus Grand Cana in Punta Cana. We would definitely recommend this resort to our family and friends. The staff was very friendly, especially our concierge Leonela and Genisis. They looks after us well, and booked our dinners for us. The rooms and resort/pools/waterpark were very clean and well maintained. The food could have been much better, especially at the Origin buffet. Food was mediocre, especially for those who are vegetarian/vegan. The omelet and pasta stations were good. Tori restaurant was good, but we really enjoyed Karnica Steakhouse. Surprisingly they have a delicious Vegan burger. The kids loved watching the turtles, ducks and fish in the lobby pond. The entertainment was great for kids - even though it was a quiet/low time at the resort, they still had a ton of entertainment for the kids. Habitat was also busy with a ton of activities. The waterpark was 5-7 min walking distance from any building and loads of fun! Few tips: 1. Bring your own hairdryer if you want heat. The hairdryer only flew cold air. 2. Bring your own floaties, pool rings and toys. They don't have any extras lying around at the resort. 3. Bring bug spray. The resort has a lot of foliage so lots of bugs at night. Enhoy your stay!

We had a family concierge and it made a world of a difference. Our concierge, Thaina, was very responsive, especially for our first time, and tried her best to fulfill our family's need. If I were to come back to another All inclusive at Paradisus, I would definitely get a concierge again. Night entertainment for young kids weren't as good as playa del Carmen. The musicians weren't as interactive with the kids and the circus was over 1.5 hrs late (9pm). The kids were passed out by then. We were here for 7 days so we were able to experience all the entertainment available, and it seems more adult oriented. Their childcare centre, habitat is amazing though. Emmanuel and his team work hard from morning all the way to night to help provide child care. They will keep you in contact via WhatsApp and see end pictures periodically of the activities they have planned during the day. The waterpark here is definitely superior than the one at play del Carmen. 3 waterparks, to accomodate all ages. Can't ask for more. Lastly the food is either a hit or miss. I would say their fresh steaks, cheese and fish are the best. They also have a wide variety of drinks, with the Pina colada definitely being a bit.

Everything was amazing my family and I had an amazing time. We will definitely go back soon.
