Excellent location in the heart of town. Nice view from the rooftop balcony. Otherwise average.

Great location!

I wasnt unhappy with the hotel, just maybe should have upgraded my hotel. But for what I paid I have no complaints, its not a high end place. Pros: location, clean and price Cons: very basic, was a bit stuffy in the rooms, not all of the rooms had windows. Room 109 had freaking awesome windows but they were single pane and blocked no sound from the street. FYI shared bathrooms were fine and clean.

1. There is no 24/7 front desk. When I arrive at there to check in, there is nobody here. Even though I ring the bell, I still have to wait for few minutes,later a girl shows up in front of a desk. 2.I book the room on the platform.The receptionist takes a photo of my passport and copy my passport.I am angry with that.ID is important for a person and there is a risk of information leaking.The receptionist cannot speak English and it is hard to communicate. I ask to chat with her manager who can speak English, but the receptionist refuse to do it. 3. I book the room with window which can see the street view, but the receptionist gives me a room with window inside(also without window guard no fresh air)! The room is also closed to the bathroom. You can hear all the sound of taking shower and flushing sound and door sound.You cannot sleep. 4. The upstairs make noises from 2:00 pm to 11:pm. Until I go upstairs to look for them, they become quiet. In the next early morning (around 5-6am)they make noise again and wake me up. 5. The floor is old, you can hear steps sound when people walk on the floor.

Pros- great price,great views, includes breakfast, location was excellent Cons-thin walls (we just put ear plugs)

Was ok for a short stay

This was the cleanest place we have stayed in Ecuador. All the staff were very nice and helpful. Quick to give us advice on the best things to do and where to eat. Breakfast was an egg, banana, roll and coffee or tea. The water was always hot, just wait a little for it. Laundry service was nice. Give it to them in the morning with $5 and it will be dried and folded for you in the evening. The only down sides were the creeky floors. It is an old building. The bed was not great and the road noise was present. But without a doubt we would stay again.

Desde que hice la reserva en Expedía el hotel estuvo enterado. En su momento por error hice doble reserva, agradezco mucho su gestión con la cancelación de la reserva duplicada

Todo estuvo excelente la atención la cocina etcétera muy especial la atención del señor Jorge

Lo que no me gustó es que las paredes son muy finas y eso interrumpe el sueño, se escucha todos los pasos y el ruido q empiezan a hacer desde las 6 am. También considerar que las habitaciones no tienen baño propio, son baños compartidos comunitarios.

Un lugar muy tranquilo y limpio, el personal muy amigable

Todo excelente, el unico detalle es que no avisaron que no prestan toallas ni jabones para bañarse.

It seems a place that is run by a people that never stayed in hostel. Showers misses places to hang your clothes, toilets and showers were everyday without soap. In the rooms there is no place to hang your clothes either. Room for 4 there was only one place to charge your phone, otherones didnt work. Pillows were disgusting, old and really bad quality. Breakfast was also made so cheap - the scramble eggs were really really watery and coffee was more like a tea. Basically everything was just taken care the bare minimum and the cheapest you can get and it leaves you bad taste. Staff was lovely, funny and helpful! That's what we loved.

Leider ist die Strassenseite unertraeglich. 1.Pflastersteine 2.eine Ampel die nachts laut 38 mal piept und dann 45 sekunden ruhe gibt 3.sehr viele laute autos,die mit gebasteltem Motel auch nachts aufdrehen 4.Strassenreinigung beginnt 4 Uhr. Schlaf unmoeglich. Ist man weg von der Strasse,dann ist der Treppenaufgang und die kleine zentrale Sitzflaeche nachts sehr hoerbar,auch weil die /klos draussen sind. Sonst ist das Hostal nicht so schlecht. Super Central
