The hotel was very charming and the staff was incredible! The room was comfortable, although the bathroom was a bit small. The shower had plenty of hot water and that was a plus. The breakfast was good and the salad I had for dinner was great!

We stayed at the hotel November 22 to November 30 2017. The staff was very helpful and attentive. The breakfast buffet was great. I liked the cozy sitting areas that were on each floor so when I was up earlier than my spouse, I was able to have a quiet sitting area with a lovely view. We would definitely stay here again.

My friend and I stayed in the hotel for 4 nights and we both hated to leave. This was one of the finest hotels I have ever stayed at and the price is unbelievable. We speak almost no Spanish but the staff spoke enough English that we got by easily. The staff is wonderful and the rooms are great. The food is also excellent. One day I went out alone and the girl on the desk asked me where my friend was. I said he was not feeling well and was staying in bed. She called the room to see if he needed anything or wanted tea or soup or for her to call a doctor. It was only a touch of altitude sickness, but she really cared. The entire staff was like that. I really don't think they are charging enough for the room or the food. I intend to go back to Cuenca and when I do, I will stay there again.

We had a split level room. The living room and the kitchen area were seperate from the bedroom. Just like a little apt! Open and uncrowded space which was perfect for practicing our Cumbia steps! Shower was hot, beds were comfy and warm, breakfast was delicious and the service was very friendly! Every encounter was service with a smile. From the front counter to the food servers, to the maids! They treated us like family! We stayed there for a week. We would definitely recommend this Hotel! Richard and Kathleen

The kuna hotel is a gem that caters to your every need. Every staff member is professional but with a caring manner that they make you feel right at home. Have you ever seen those movies with wonderful hotels? Well the Kuna hotel is beyond those movie hotels. When In Cuenca you have to stay at the Kuna , it will make everything much better.

Stayed at the Kuna Hotel for two nights, very convenient if traveling by car as it is close to the city center with on-site parking. Stayed in a room in the back and it was very quiet. Excellent breakfast made to order with extremely courteous, friendly and professional service. Everyone at the hotel was service oriented and helpful.
