This is a value stay. Close to the city center. The staff were very helpful. The breakfast is good. The rooms are old but that is reflected in the price. Linen was clean, the room had its own bathroom and air conditioning.

This is not a hotel but a hostel. All pictures online are misleading. While the owners are nice and accommodating, the hostel is located in an extremely old and poorly maintained building.

I loved staying at the Paris Hotel. Without a doubt it was the cleanest place I have ever stayed. Walid, the owner, lives there and the staff were great. Guests have free use of the kitchen, so don’t have always to eat out — vital during Ramadan, when almost everywhere is closed dawn to dusk. Though there is a handy restaurant right next door, always serving for those who don’t fast. I loved being in the center of the city, able to walk everywhere. There’s a little balcony to sit out on and watch the street.

First of all you have to take into account the price, very inexpensive! Yes this is more like a Hostel than a hotel, and I will say that I and my three friends, wouldn't trade our stay here with a couple nights at the Four Seasons! The location is great, right in the center of downtown Cairo, but mostly because of Walid and his family. They made us feel so comfortable. They make a lovely breakfast for you each day whenever you are ready. Getting to spend some time talking to them was really special for us. No issue for us but the lift does not and frankly likely will never work so as long as you can handle the stairs it's all good.

My brother and I loved our stay at Paris Hotel! Small, clean, and cozy. Right in downtown Cairo, walking distance to attractions (take care crossing the streets if you are unfamiliar with how that works). No elevator access as the hotel is in an old building. The owners made our stay wonderful as well. They are warm and welcoming and generously packed us a complimentary breakfast to take with us on a morning where we had an early start.

Centralized location close to markets, restaurants and stores. The hotel is on the 3rd floor and staff helps you bring your luggage upstairs. Breakfast is succulent. It’s prepared as soon as you leave the room regardless of the time. Our flight out was at 7am and had to leave the hotel by 4:30am. The manager prepared the breakfast early for us.

Friendly helpful staff, but the room was not worth the price - half the lights didn’t work, the bathroom was TINY (you have to shower on top of the toilet) and the price of running half a bag of laundry through the washing machine was more than a half hour taxi trip from the airport. They charge like a boutique hotel but it’s more of a hostel.

Location was great, walking distance to the Nile, downtown, and the museum. Hotel is small and the rooms recently remodeled. They make toast and eggs for breakfast when you wake up. One night I was out till 4am and woke up at 11:30a. They still made breakfast. There is also access to laundry if you need it. Not expensive. Tip: Eat the falafel downstairs, it’s yummy, and open late. Be careful walking across the street. It can be dangerous. Something to consider: The lift is broken right now. Not sure when it will be fixed. The hotel is on the 4th floor. I like walking so it didn’t bother me but if you have physical limitations it could be a problem.
