This was a wonderful property. As a solo traveller, I choose this area for safety and convenience. This property is by far my favourites the flat was perfect, minor inconveniences such as the hot water you had to play with to make it ok to shower and kitchen wasn’t quite quipped but everything else out weighs. Highly recommend

I would greatly recommend this hotel to anyone. It was a perfect 2 and a half week stay and it felt like a little home away from home. With absolutely everything we needed. Great place and great location ⭐️⭐️⭐️

I regret staying here. The rooms are nice enough and have room, but I both had to pay an extra fee the night before I checked in (that they never advertised) and I didn't get working wifi for the first day/night. As someone who was just relying on wifi thoughout England, this was really a hardship. Once I got wifi, the hotel was a bit better, but the fact that there is no permanent hotel staff here means that you have to wait a bit to get your problems solved. I liked the actual hotels I stayed in much better on this trip

We stayed here for 2 full weeks but it wasn’t the most comfortable stay. The bed was uncomfortable, with thin lumpy pillows and only a double which for 2 average sized adults was just too small. The shower head was broken so it was difficult to wash my hair thoroughly and have a decent shower. You have to wash your own towels which is fine but if you stay for a long time, and you are travelling extensively it’s a chore that can be tiresome to have to do yourself. The room was a good size, the kitchen was handy but dirty. Quiet enough but we were on the top floor so didn’t hear a lot of comings and goings. As far as location goes, it’s perfect. We walked to Kensington gardens, Notting hill and the tube is very close if you don’t want to walk too far. Lots of local restaurants and grocery stores to choose from so that’s another plus. We’d stay again, but only for a night or so.

We had an issue with the self check-in. The fob in the lock box did not work to open the apartment door. I had to call Expedia and they reached out to the property. The cleaner was inside the property and he put another fob in the lock box but made no effort to locate me (I was on the front step). This delayed our check-in several hours. The common area was not very clean nor was the apartment. Other than that the apartment was fine. The location is excellent.

There are a lot of advantages in staying in your own apartment. It's nice to know you can come and go without being interrupted by room cleaning etc. you can self cater and you have a bit more space. This is a good apartment (we stayed in number 12). The size is enough for 2 people. It's good to have a separate area for sleeping from the living area (but note, there is no door between the two rooms). The apartment is nicely furnished with sufficient space for storing clothes, there is a hairdryer, iron, ironing board, safe, a small amount of toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion and a couple of small soaps). These were just enough for two weeks. We did have to buy extra toilet paper. A couple of quirks were that the fob on the door into the apartment only ever worked on the 3rd go. Also, as mentioned on the site and by others, there are a lot of stairs to the upper levels. After a day of sightseeing and walking around, the extra walk up the stairs can be a struggle, but certainly keeps you fit! The property said that there would be one room service after a week but this never happened. We washed the towels ourselves in the communal laundry. The laundry was a little bit unkempt, just dusty and lots of detergent on the floor and always full of piles of sheets and towels in various stages of washing and drying. There are two washing machines and one went out of order during our stay. The machines were in fairly regular use by staff and guests.

Arrived early evening, but there had been no e-mail regarding access codes. Eventually a cleaner (who was helpful) let us in and sorted it out, no response from the hotel phone or contact. On second night there was a fire alarm at 11pm, Fire Brigade arrived, but the management had told one of the guests to turn off the alarm. Fire Service said this was not safe. Took almost an hour to resolve. No one from property management ever showed up to address this. Coupled with a long hike from the ground floor to the room (4 flights of steep stairs) with no lift - generally a very poor experience.

If you need WiFi & a well maintained property - this is not the place for you. The location is great! However, not having wifi that actually works is a problem. The sprinklers in the room were leaking rust from the ceiling, the hall had a consistent questionable smell, and a bunch of other maintenance issues. additionally, their billing practices are questionable as they tried to bill me an extra $518 - not a deposit but an actual charge. I used to live in London, so it is not a review on london flat normals of Ken/South ken but this property in particular.
