Boutique by Browns

Staff were friendly and knew their menu and their jobs. Very lively place in the evening but a good atmosphere. Good food and wine. Our stay was a good end to a round the UK trip.

We enjoyed our recent overnight stay at Boutique at Browns. Staff were polite and welcoming. The hotels setting was lovely on the banks of the River Severn yet and easy walk to the city centre and main sights. Our room was comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, well presented and freshly cooked to order. We had a nice evening meal in the restaurant.

Lovely property. Breakfast could do with being served earlier in the morning from 7am and not 8am. Not very convenient for business travellers.

We love this hotel. Night away for our wedding anniversary and we received a surprise upgrade to one of the suites which was fab. Great staff, lovely rooms, will definitely stay again.

Gorgeous hotel with impeccable and friendly service. Our two bed apartment was huge, luxurious, with a lovely view overlooking the river. The restaurant had a great atmosphere, we had a thoroughly enjoyable lunch there and a delicious breakfast. Unfortunately we only stayed one night.

Great location. Room was clean, bathroom facilities were excellent, bed was comfortable. Nice bar, friendly staff. Breakfast was good quality with great choice.

Wonderful stay at Browns. Comfortable, stylish room with everything we could need. Super friendly staff and excellent food for dinner and breakfast. This was our second stay and we will be back!

Nice hotel, good service, very good breakfast. Great location. Booked a ‘deluxe family room’ - stayed in room 204 - it would be a real stretch to consider this a deluxe family room. Given the noise outside this hotel is probably not best suited to families - but were we travelling without children this would be ideal.

Excellent staff and very very very good breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable but very warm. We were here during a heatwave and the room was not good for that. There was a fan provided and in any weather under 30 degrees it would have been fine! Location excellent.

This property is exceptional, beautiful rooms, comfortable beds, safe room, water provided every day, lovely staff, great food, we had beautiful breakfasts every morning of our 4 nights stay & dined in the restaurant 1 night, we had a room with a lovely view of the Severn, my only gripe is that the rooms are very warm, a fan was provided which helped a bit.

Fizz on arrival, staff couldn’t do enough for us

The hotel is nicely situated on the river, and we enjoyed dinner sitting outside overlooking the water. The staff were friendly and attentive. A complimentary glass of Prosecco is offered on arrival. A couple of reservations: the main door of the hotel is kept closed in summer for security reasons, but the signage to the entrance is confusing and sent us round in a circle — not a good start. The restaurant was hosting a bottomless brunch, which was pretty noisy. Happily it didn’t last into the evening. Our room was described as a superior king. However, it was very small, with a smallish window that didn’t let in much light. It was very hot overnight, making it difficult to sleep. We returned to the front desk to enquire about the inconsistency between the description of the room and the reality. Richard on the front desk was very understanding, acknowledging that the room was “not the biggest”. As the hotel was fully booked, he could not move us. He did, however, offer us a complimentary bottle of wine. Next time, we’ll specifically ask for one of the larger superior king rooms. We were left wondering what the standard rooms are like.

Another great stay at Browns, staff are so welcoming. The restaurant is fantastic.

It would be 5 star except the summer’s day was particularly hot and although there was a fan, there was no sheet - just a duvet, so this option could be provided when warm. The view from my room of the river was lovely though. The tap in room 204 can leak.
